Bought this for the wife to have a proper greenhouse. Am VERY impressed with the quality of the kit. The instruction booklet is very well illustrated and very easy to follow. The importance of laying out everything and grouping it should be explained a bit more. I had everything laid out but hadn’t put it “in order” so it was a bit extra to look through the “lumberyard” but got easier as I went along. I did have one small piece of fan trim that was almost broken in half length wise but was able to wood glue and clamp it for use. I will say that I was able to build this by myself until the getting the roof halves up onto the gables.

Bought greenhouse and it arrived 6 days later. I’m a 66 year old and assembled the unit by myself. Instructions are spot on. It took some time for me to complete but I took my time. While assembling I was impressed with the quality of the unit. If I would have bought something similar in quality assembled it would’ve cost much,much more. I was impressed that there were so many pieces yet they were all there and no damage. I opted to seal all pieces prior to assembling . I recommend doing this. I used a cordless sprayer and it worked out great. That also helped me become more familiar with the pieces. I just finished today and turning it over to my wife. She’s thrilled. I got lots of brownie points for this!

We bought this greenhouse and are about 75% done with the assembly. The quality of the materials and the simplicity of the instructions are absolutely fabulous! If you’re hesitating on buying this, don’t hesitate, it is easy to assemble. All of the boxes are marked perfectly with the part numbers, and it is a very high-quality greenhouse.

We installed the XL greenhouse recently. For most homeowners this is far far too much to take on and best left to pro's. I would expect two young ambitious homeowners to need 10-15 weekends for foundation work, wood sealing, assembly, andfinishing touches. I felt this kit was overall very well made and the precision the kit is made at (e.g. pre-drilled holes, notches etc.) is astonishing. I'm not a fan of the poly panel taping it required (why not sealed panes?) as moisture can get in and fog the panels. I felt the fasteners were well made except for the metal roof screws which are terrible and window latches are akward. I'm not a fan of how the roof was flashed especially where poly roof panels meet metal. I felt the kit would benefit from gutters/rain barrel option and the fan/thermostat a solar option. Despite the criticisms this kit is awesome overall and if you're crazy ambitious get one.

We live up in the mountains in central Idaho so our growing season is shorter, and we get quite a bit of snow. We have shopped around for a while looking at greenhouses, and this specific brand caught our eye because of it’s snow load and because of it’s beauty. My husband and I put this greenhouse together ourselves. The instructions are easy to follow and straightforward. Each of the eight boxes had a paper inside listing all items in that specific box making it quicker to find the piece needed. The finished product is beautiful and I can’t wait to start using it.

After doing tons of research on what kind of greenhouse we wanted and one that would survive the climate of Alaska, we settled on the 11x7 Bellerose. My husband and I took our time sorting everything out in the garage, including putting up tables for all the hardware and alphabetizing the boards. We also water sealed all the boards prior to installation (sealed as we went). It took us several weekends working on it, including building the foundation. We are extremely pleased with the high-end quality, excellent instructions, and aesthetics of the greenhouse. We have gotten a lot of compliments on it so far. I love that it has folding tables, a built-in fan and water spigot. This is definitely higher quality than the ones we looked at at the big box stores and even local contractors that build on site. Well-worth the investment and would definitely recommend!!!

It took all the guesswork out of the process and made it easy to follow along. With the combination of the easy-to-understand manual and the BILT app, what could have felt like an overwhelming project turned into a straightforward, rewarding experience. We were able to build it efficiently, and it was fun to see it take shape as we went. Now, we will have a beautiful, sturdy greenhouse that will extend our growing season and give us a peaceful space to enjoy gardening. If you’re considering adding a greenhouse, we can’t recommend the Bellerose from Backyard Discovery highly enough. It’s a fantastic investment, and the company has truly delivered on quality and user experience!

I bought this a few weeks ago and we are impressed with the quality and features of this greenhouse. Although it was a lengthy build everything went together very easily. My wife keeps showing her coworkers, friends and family pictures and is in love with it!

I am about 2/3 of way finished building the 13x11 greenhouse and I am completely amazed at the quality, engineering and hardware. I have built 2 large cedar greenhouses in my former property from the only other competitor that makes them bigger than 8x10. Those greenhouses were great, still standing tall and strong after 10+ years. Those greenhouses were reliable, strong and tons of fun. But if those greenhouses were a reliable Toyota Camry, then this one is a Lexus. First, the instructions - both paper and 3D instructions on the app, are hands down the best instructions I have ever seen in my life. The wood seems high quality. The metal hardware to put everything together with all the pre-drilled holes is strong and convenient. Every piece of wood is labeled (there were only 2 pieces not labeled - little bit of a pain to figure it out, but nothing major). The options (temp controlled fan, windows, pergola) all great features. Love the large square shape. Only thing to be wary - says it doesn't need to be stained, which is true. But, you do have to put water sealant on it, so same thing. However, if you just use Thompson's semi-transparent cedar stain protector, you get a beautiful color of cedar shining through. I put this on my new patio so I could have a level starting point and also put 4x4 treated wood under the frame to protect the greenhouse frame longer. Living in New England, I plan to put foam insulation around the cedar walls and seal it up so it can be. used as a 4-season greenhouse.

Just completed assembly with my wife. We could not believe the attention to detail of this kit. Some details were for structural strength and some for appearance. All pre-drilled holes and pilot holes were dead-on. The only mistakes we ran into were because we missed a required step. The instructions were perfect, the included hardware and tools were excellent. It was enjoyable to build. The only thing I would like to see is designing the door to open either left side or right side. We are looking forward to planting now!
