i haerd of knob creek for quite sometime from Slb youtube channel but it's quite hard to find in thailand especially the 9yo. i had it in dubai and i found that it's sweet, smooth with hint of spice, and long satisfying after taste. it's the first whisky/bourbon that makes me truly want to drink again and again and again.

I picked up a bottle back in Feb of 2025, it was bottled in Feb of 2024, barreled in Feb of 2014, 10 years and 8 days old, the best bottle of 25 in my collection. I did finish it, picked another bottle @ different location, both are store picks, the second bottle is totally different, it's not as good, it's hot on the pallet ,front to finish, I will pick a 3 rd bottle, from 1st location, hope it's from the same Rick house and 6th floor.

The proof of this bourbon might not be suitable for newer bourbon drinkers but once you get your palate acclimated it is a delicious pour. Rich, flavorful and bold. I've never met a bottle of Knob Creek Single Barrel that I didn't love from beginning to end. Being a Jim Beam product this has some of the dusty peanuts note found in a majority of their products. Being aged 9 years gives some smoothness to the whiskey that only age in a charred oak barrel can provide. I don't believe there is a bad way to drink this bourbon, and it is very well priced for what you are actually getting. This is my go-to for an old fashioned.

I have found the rich flavor and smoothness of KC 100 straight bW hits all the right buttons. from the "nose" to the palate to the relaxation. this is by far the classiest bourbon, in my opinion. I prefer sipping cold from the frig and let it warm slowly...beautifully enjoyable. Nice job!

Why does Cape Girardeau Missouri go through so much knob? Cause I tell everybody it's the only one to drink. Ive tried them all, knob is the most consistent most drinkable bourbon there is. Except your rye...I don't like rye...or maple... but your single barrel is outstanding!

First time trying knob creek bourbon from across the bond in the uk. Defintely one of the most complex and interesting bourbons i have ever tasted. A rich aroma followed by a long lasting wArm taste and finish makes this a unique experience. To finish, a genuine story of roots which only make you feel like you're drinking pure character and history.

I'm an old man new to drinking bourbon and I have been trying many different bourbons looking for my "go to", I just finished my first drink of Knob Creek 9 year 100 proof and it was really good. Looking forward to finishing this bottle and trying other Knob Creek whiskeys. Dennis

I have been drinking this for about 1.5 years now and it has evolved into my favorite. I asked my wife if it would be weird if I bought an entire case and she asked, "Why would you do that?" and I told her, "In case they stop making it" I love mixing it with some holiday lemonade my wife makes with Meyers lemons. Christmas Kentucky Kiss. I raise a toast to The Bluegrass State from a Buckeye State native transplanted to The Golden State.

And so is the flavor profile I loved, replaced by diminished notes of dark, candied fruit framed by subtle vanilla-toffee. I realize this was done to maintain supply (and hence accessibility to Knob's fans/consumers), so it was a compromise of sorts. Perhaps it was a wise decision, but for me, Knob Creek has gone from a "special occasion Bourbon" to a solidly, above-average bourbon that struggles to distinguish itself fopm the pack.

When I lived in New Orleans, it was fun to be a tourist in my own town. A stroll downriver through the edge of the French Quarter taking in the wafts of fresh beignets, roasted pecans, and creamy pralines was a Sensory treat. Putting my nose in this glass of Knob Creek 9 year instantly took me down memory lane, or North Peters Street as it were. On the palate the slight sweetness is countered by time spent in barrel, an undertone of cinnamon and nutmeg and a pleasing warmth from the ABV. There's a more earthy and nutty element here as well. In this case age makes all the difference, mellowing out the exuberance of younger bourbon, a characteristic that rarely strikes my fancy. I'd happily pair this neat with a back yard fire and s'mores in Midcity or a steamy evening spent on a balcony overlooking a courtyard on Governor Nichols and Royal, y'heard me?
