This has a milder flavor compared to the regular one and tastes more like Red Bull than the sugar free variety. It has a nice bubblegummy flavor to begin and a nice tart after taste, just like the original. I really like the addition of monk fruit as a sweetener, compared to some of the other artificial options (although this still does have sucralose). Energy-wise, I found it just as effective as the other varieties, giving me a good buzz without feeling sluggish afterwards, unlike other brands. My only complaint is this tastes a little flatter and doesn't have the same bite compared to the original and even some of the flavored varieties out there. Overall, I would have this if I wasn't feeling the flavored varieties and wanted to go back to the original flavor.
