[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Red Bull Zero Sugar Monk Fruit is a refreshing beverage that is perfect for those watching their sugar intake, with some caveats. I enjoy the light blue design on the can, and it’s not a bad value for the price. It perked me up in the morning l after drinking it, likely thanks to the caffeine and B vitamins in the ingredients. When drinking it, I get a slight, sweet pineapple flavor from the drink on the initial sip. After that, I get a sense of candied fruit. Over all, it is a fairly neutral flavor, though more on the sweet side compared to other zero sugar varieties offered by Red Bull. There is an aftertaste in the drink that I don’t find pleasant, but it is tolerable. I believe it comes from the monk fruit. It’s something that you could get used to, but it is worth mentioning. Overall, I think the drink is something I would pick up again. Monk fruit extract is a sweetener better for the body than many others on the market, so I could learn to adapt to the slight aftertaste.

Sugar Free Red Bull has a sweet, but not overpowering taste at the front. The aftertaste is pleasant with similarities to a sweet white wine. The low acidity has more of a smooth feel on the mouth, contrasting with the more carbonated and chemical bite of something like a sugar free Monster Zero. The energy kick is more akin to a coffee buzz. Overall I would rate Sugar Free Red Bull a 4.5 out of 5.

I liked that it had monk fruit extract but I didn’t like that it also contains sucralose and erythritol. The taste is pretty good but I won’t buy this drink again because I don’t like that it has sucralose which is an artificial sweetener added to it. The energy drink seemed to work as well for keeping me awake and alert as much as any other energy drink has.
