When drinking it, I get a slight, sweet pineapple flavor from the drink on the initial sip. After that, I get a sense of candied fruit. Over all, it is a fairly neutral flavor, though more on the sweet side compared to other zero sugar varieties offered by Red Bull. There is an aftertaste in the drink that I don’t find pleasant, but it is tolerable. I believe it comes from the monk fruit. It’s something that you could get used to, but it is worth mentioning. Overall, I think the drink is something I would pick up again. Monk fruit extract is a sweetener better for the body than many others on the market, so I could learn to adapt to the slight aftertaste.

I found that it approximated the original flavour the best of any energy drink whose zero formulation I have ever tried! I don’t usually mind the sugar free variants, but my husband often detects an aftertaste and he said it was not present with the Monk Fruit version.
