I've bought this twice now using the pickup service. There were pieces turning brown. Its unusable and I can't take the time to drive 30 miles round trip to return it, per their suggestion. I can't recommend this product, at least in Garland, TX where there is no quality control.

Not fresh at all and the ends were dark and gross. As I’m cutting the broccoli into smaller pieces, lo and behold there’s a frickin’ bug inside one of the clusters. And I don’t want to hear from the peanut gallery about how it’s a “natural” item and to expect a bug or two, this broccoli states it’s pre-washed. Not buying this again.

The past 4 times I bought this broccoli it was yellow and wilted. However this last time April 2020 I bought three bags to make broccoli salad. Opened it the next day to make lunch and it was rotted. I throw out immediately and walked to to the outside trash as it had a foul, sickening smell to the vegetable. It was awful.

Taylor Farms makes great chopped salads. These were not as expected or shown in the picture. If you want chopped broccoli for soup or a casserole this is perfect. It is chopped to small to use as a vegetable. This came with my pickup order, and unlike my previous experience, it was not as fresh as I expected. I suggest you pick this out yourself in store.

Just bought a package of this great priced beautiful broccoli and walking through the store, kept smelling something nauseatingly awful...then in the car, then at home! The package looked fine, was not puffed up and was not at expiration date. Husband made me keep it outside in garage until I could check the package. I went outside an hour later and the smell ran me back into the house! I can't imaging eating this broccoli to be good for you when it smells this bad-at least my package did!

Nice fresh broccoli - I parboiled it for 1 minute in heavily salted water, plunged it in ice water, then dried it thoroughly and refrigerated it in a zip loc. Stayed fresh and crunchy for a long, long time - Perfect for stir fry or for a little crunch "raw" in a salad. The recipe with garlic on the bag is delicious. Great price for this much really fresh broccoli

In the past few months, whenever I get these, the ends of all the broccoli are moldly, even when I use them right away. About half the bag is full of tiny, tiny florets, which are no good to be steamed. I've stopped buying these, because I toss about half the bag.

This is not the brand they carry in any Sam's near me. It's New World. I bought this about a year ago and the taste and smell was so strange that I had to throw it away. It wasn't bad or old. It was just off and inedible. So recently I thought I'd try again. My mistake. Same strange taste and smell, not like any broccoli I've ever eaten in my life. My husband, who doesn't have a great sense of smell, even said it was weird. I won't purchase this again.

New World Farms broccoli: Did this product rebrand? The wording in the bag is the name but it's now New World. Hubs grabbed a bag a couple days ago, about a quarter of it had black and soft spots; it was dated 10 days fromthe purchase date. He went in this am to replace it, he said many of the bags had obviously bad spots or were slimy looking. What gives, Sam's?? I eat a lot of this stuff, please fix the spoilage problem.

I bought a bag of this, while the broccoli LOOKED fresh, my refrigerator started to smell. I couldn’t figure out what the issue was, so I finally opened the broccoli bag. The smell was pungent, but since the broccoli LOOKED fresh, I just moved it to the outside fridge, hoping it would improve. ITS BEEN OVER A MONTH AND OUR REFRIGERATOR STILL SMELLS LIKE FARTS. We’ve cleaned, our baking soda, EVEN SPRAYED FEBREZE, and unfortunately our refrigerator is still RUINED. Never again. Be warned. So gross.
