We bought these the day before Thanksgiving in a pick-up order. When we opened the bag on Thanksgiving day, the broccoli had strange discolored spots on the flowers...we ended up not eating them. :-( Same thing happened with "not-so-fresh" mushrooms, and bagged salad lettuce. If you're able, I think it's better to go into the store to pick out your own vegetables, meat, etc. It's too much of a hit or miss with vegetables.

Great price! Looks good. Even tastes fine, however it smells awful! I've never had broccoli that has a smell at all. I didn't know broccoli smelled. It's smells like cooked Brussel sprouts when you open the bag. It made my fridge stink and I had to throw it away. It was not expired. It still looked crisp and fresh.

I usually buy frozen broccoli in the steam bags but I wanted fresh to make that yummy broccoli salad. Some of the broccoli were yellowed and mushy. But mostly the bag was usable so I used half for salad and half for cheesy broccoli soup. Probably won't purchase again.

Have not been able to find a fresh bag of this broccoli for most of 2020. It has been looking terrible - even on the shelf in the store. The cut ends are brown and slimy looking, and the florets are full of rotten looking pieces. When I did find a good-looking bag earlier this year, it spoiled within 2 days. There appeared to be too much moisture inside the bag.

The Taylor Farms broccoli will barely last until the date on the package. I have also purchased Mr. Lucky fresh broccoli from a different Sams. The broccoli is over a dollar cheaper and lasts about a month after the due date. I don't know why there is such a difference, but I wish they would lose the Taylor Farms brand, as in my experience it doesn't last the same way.

from a product perspective it is fine. From a consumes perspective, I would not have picked this particular bag. The tops were brown and old. The pickers used in store for this service should be a little more picky and ask themselves if they would pick this for their family. In this case, no. I would have picked another..

I bought this and found it to be a fresh batch of broccoli. I sorted my 2 pound bag into individual zip lock bags of 3 ounces each. I weighed out 3 ounce into each bag and found that I ended up with 11 bags of 3 ounce portions. This is a total of exactly 1 ounce over 2 pounds. Seems like the company distributing this broccoli purposely over weighs each 2 pound bag on purpose to make the customer happy. I will buy this product again.

I have given this item a few tries and always thought I waited too late to use it since it smelled bad. This last time I used the broccoli the day after I bought it and it stillsmelled and tasted terrible. Get your produce from heb would be my recommendation.

I purchased two bags as I always do last week, I made sure they looked ok and had a future date of the following week. I opened one bag 2 days after purchase and it was mostly partially brown and off smelling stems and beaten up broccoli. I opened up the other bag assuming it would be better, and it was somehow worse. I'm not sure where the quality control went but please fix this 😔

I bought a bag of this, while the broccoli LOOKED fresh, my refrigerator started to smell. I couldn’t figure out what the issue was, so I finally opened the broccoli bag. The smell was pungent, but since the broccoli LOOKED fresh, I just moved it to the outside fridge, hoping it would improve. ITS BEEN OVER A MONTH AND OUR REFRIGERATOR STILL SMELLS LIKE FARTS. We’ve cleaned, our baking soda, EVEN SPRAYED FEBREZE, and unfortunately our refrigerator is still RUINED. Never again. Be warned. So gross.
