Great socks!

I bought these for the 75% cotton, the warmth of a crew style, size 6-12. I am a 5'3", 144 lb woman, with size 8 shoe size, feet that swell by end of day to 8.5 size. They should have been loose on me. The elastic seam at the top was tight. I have cut off the top of the shank, removing the elastic, and re-hemmed. Much more comfortable; no more edema rings at the ankle. A bummer that the sock is cut for a leg of skinny proportion up to the knee.

I've been buying these socks for 10 years. Because they're only $11, I always say I'm going to buy new ones and throw away the old ones, but whenever I get new ones, the old ones are always fine, so my sock drawer just keeps piling up. The only way I can determine the old ones is they get a bit faded after a year. Another words, these socks last forever and they're great. If you get holes then you need to trim your toenails because these are indestructible.

Drastically tide, I couldn't wear them for more than a few minutes. Appears to be a trend now for the long socks, have old ones and they are a bit tide but not like those. The 4" socks were ok. My shoe size is 10.5W. Will try to stretch them on a jar in the dishwasher - read over the internet that heat stretching works. But why can't I find long socks that fit when just a few years old socks fit?

I bought these for work to wear with my boots. As some have mentioned these fit snug. I'm a 10.5 and I think that's about the limit. If you're smaller than a 10 these should be fine. When you first wash them you may want to turn them inside out. They leave a bit of fuzz balls on your feet. Also, letting them air dry instead of using the dryer might help with the shrinkage that happens from using the dryer. That being said they are comfortable but not sure if I would buy them again due to the fit.

These socks are wonderful they very comfortable I I love the way they support my calf
