[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While Galaxy AI is a nice added feature & upgrade to an already great platform (Galaxy) I am not ad happy with the performance of my S24 & wish I had instead purchased the S24 Ultra. I've had numerous issues with this model that I never experienced with my Note 20 Ultra 5G. I've filed numerous bug reports on issues ranging from phone losing settings after OS upgrades one on particular that's noteworthy is that every OS upgrade I'm forced to re-enter the contacts I allow through Do Not Disturb & there are others. I wish I had purchased the 24 Ultra instead and will upgrade to the Ultra model when this phone is paid off.

It'll not want to click the right things and alot of the time it will just randomly pop-up with stuff or it'll even put in different words that I am typing and know not the autocorrect, it literally types in something else. That I didn't even type. I have to make sure to carefully tap each and every letter not that I dont do that already. It will bring up something totally random and yeah, truthfully, it's nice in the way of taking pictures, and maybe that's about it, sometimes playing games even then it does things randomly that i'm not doing and yes Im also referring to the "Galaxy AI." It will randomly come on when no one is even saying anything, and no I do not touch the side button and hold it down too long for it to come on just randomly or even say its name. I mean, like, I will not even be holding my phone or saying anything at all and it will just randomly pop up and turn itself on and listen for something. Not cool really !!!

Being able to change all the different volumes and fonts is really useful. The camera is also great in taking pictures and using galaxy AI to edit them is really easy and useful too.

Performance-wise, the Snapdragon handles everything smoothly — gaming, multitasking, and daily use are great. The phone feels fast and efficient in the short term. However, battery life is disappointing over time. It struggles to last a full day with even moderate use. Samsung could've improved battery capacity here. I've also noticed some heating during prolonged use, and in rare cases, the touchscreen becomes slightly unresponsive, with certain pixels lagging. Another letdown was the IP rating. My phone briefly fell into beach water (less than 5 seconds), and the charging port short-circuited. That's unexpected for a device marketed as water-resistant. On the brighter side, the camera is excellent — great color balance and detail. The weight and size feel just right, making it easy to handle. Speakers are loud and clear, enhancing the media experience. I've faced network drops in prime locations, which might be an antenna or band issue. Overall, the S24 has strong performance and a great camera but battery, durability, and touch responsiveness could be better.

I love the ability to fully customize my device to my likely while at the same time also keeping things simple. Anything that comes to mind from steaming quality and a great hands on gaming experience is what completely sold me too see this device has the compatibility to run high end titles that either a PC or Console can do still blows my mind still till this day. Samsung you never disappoint. 5 stars all the way!.

Camera is great, worked well to pick up many of solar eclipse, northern lights and comet pictures last year! Performance is good for apps and video. I have used Galaxy AI transcription features. Especially useful in settings where speakers talk fast or have an unfamiliar accent. Moving over from S21 to S24 was very easy and seamless. Great pick overall.
