Great tire but horrible treadware

I only got to 33,000 mi before it got down to the tread wear indicator. I took it in to see about the warranty and they told me that the tires lasted until 1/32 of an inch even though it is down to the tread wear indicator. I am already having standing water issues and they want you to drive it until bald. 60000 ain't happening.

Don't last

Quiet and good ride, but don't last. Used for summer only. Swap them out and rotate myself as I don't live near a retailer. Only 36,000 km on them and they're needing to be replaced. Don't qualify for warranty as I didn't get the rotation done at the retailer.

Perfect Small and Mid-Size SUV Tire

I first tried to save a few dollars and put the Defender LTX's on my 2015 Toyota Highlander. They are a good tire, ride was smooth but did have a noticeable "whine" to them. It seems like the Defender LTX is more of a light truck or full size SUV tire and the tread pattern certainly looked like it as well in my opinion. Anyway, after 300 miles, my dealer and Michelin changed them out for the Premier LTX's. All I can say is spend the extra dollars up front and get this tire for any small to mid size SUV. It is the smoothest, quietest tire I've ever owned. Absolutely terrific ride and no noise at all. Fantastic service as well.

Poor treadwear, bad snow traction

After 15,000 miles, the treadwear is down to 4/32" to 5/32". The tires won't last past 20,000 or 25,000 miles. Not even close to the stated 60,000 mile warranty. Traction in light snow is very slippery. General tire performance in daily driving for suburban areas of city and highway is fine but treadwear is horrible.

Worn out around 40km

The tire wire out at the 40km and our two years Cadillac car failed the safety certificate check today and I had to chang the tire immediately in order to process lease buyout. It is a surprise that such a premium tire with 100k warranty failed after normal city road drive at 40k. Very disappointed and this also drive inconvenience for our schedule a lot (extract work days and money to change new tires).

Poor ride quality and therefore waaaay over-priced.

If you care anything about ride quality you will not like these tires. Apparently Michelin only makes one tire that fits my car, these, so I guess I'm done with Michelin for many years or maybe forever. Returning these. The Michelin's that came on the car were great but they're being phased out.

Need to Replace after Just 2 Years and 20K Miles

I am a loyal Michelin user, but am disappointed in this set of tires. Despite regular tire rotation and maintaining proper inflation, these tires are in need of replacement after just 2 years and 20,000 miles. I am going to attempt to utilize the warranty that came with the tires, but will request a different model (e.g. Defender) be used as a replacement. This is the first set of Michelins I have owned that I wouldn't recommend to others.

Long lasting

Replaced Goodyear tires with Michelin premier LTX on 4/12/2012 on Saturn Outlook X-R @ 34545 miles. Now have 108721 miles on tires with 5/16th tread left. Rotated every 5000 miles. 50/50 City and highway miles.I read reviews and don't understand why these tires get bad reviews. I will definitely buy these tires again. Bought & serviced by Beaty Chevrolet Knoxville

30,000 miles on my Lexus and already worn to 4/32.

Just had my tires checked. Down to 4/32, wear bars starting to show. Tires are supposed to be good for 60,000. Have rotated every 5,000 miles. Will not pass inspection in December and can't make it though the winter with them. Very disappointed with quality based on warranty miles.

Won't last another year

I thought great wear, so pay a little more and not worry about tires. Nope. not working. The tires barely have 10k kms on them and they are half worn out. They are good on wet roads and light slush, so I have a little confidence in them. I have had the alignment done 2x, was out .5 degree the first time, not out at all the second time. I have rotated them 2x also. I seems they are great for highways in a straight line with not many turns. Roads have a lot of turns in BC, so I guess that is why they can't take it. I have gone to Chinese (Westlake) winter tires at 1/3 the price and they are going to outlast the premium Michelins by quite a bit. Lesson learned. I used to drive 80k a year, on gravel, on trails, in Northern Alberta, and Michelins were the only tire that could take it, and last. Not anymore, and that is for sure. I am now retired and don't drive much anymore, maybe 8k a year.
