I usually take my whiskey neat. It is rough on the throat and it doesn’t have the flavorful undertones a good bourbon has to have. This has to be mixed or taken on the rocks. It’s cheap alright. I prefer Jack D which consider Jack a bottom shelf drink but at least I can drink it neat.

This is literally the whiskey that started it all. I was never much into whiskey until I started drinking specials in Philadelphia. A can of PBR and a shot of Jim Beam, yes please! Not the best whiskey out there, obviously, but a great choice nonetheless. I don't think the taste is horrible, but the after taste is another story. The good thing about this whiskey is that once you have enough shots it seems to just go down smooth!

I have been enjoying Jim Beam Original for many years. I started mixing JB-O with Slice while wife and I watched Dallas. I have tried other whiskeys, but keep coming back to JB. Now I enjoy it mixed with Diet Pepsi (since I can no longer find Slice).

Please bring back the plastic caps. The metal one will not go back on tightly. I purchase my Beam by the case and most always travel with a bottle, you have to be very careful that these new bottles don't fall over if the cap has ever been off. Luckily I found a good ol' while label with a handle and plastic cap, now I just refill it for travels. Sure would be nice if I didn't have to do that all the time.

My SO buys this variety all the time, usually for shots, followed by a beer chaser. It's just a bit too much bite and burn for me, so I prefer it as a mixed drink. Makes a good whiskey sour. It's good for the price point, and my SO likes it, so that's all that matters.

I purchased a half gallon of Jim Beam on Saturday. Jim Beam is my all time favorite bourbon because it is so smooth. However, for some reason this bottle did not taste like Jim Beam. In fact it taste like someone had replaced it with Kentucky Gentlemen it taste horrible. Not sure what happen or if it was just a bad bach. But it didnt taste right. Not wanting to give a bad review because it one of the best tasting bourbon for the price so please what ever happen with it. The barcode num is #868600110 this was purched at a store by my house where I always buy my bourbon

Love Jim Beam & Evan Williams bourbon. Tennessee can keep the Jack Daniels ditch water.

This product isn’t bad but i would not just buy it. It is cheap but not my favorite. If it was at a event i would drink it mixed. I see it at most stores that sell whiskey. It is not hard to find

Good standard to always have around. Good by itself and in mixed drinks. Nice to have year round and from what my 22 daughter says makes a nice gift for gen zest.
