Jeff Fox - 2 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase5/31/2026It's just me at home so I don't go through Sam's items quickly. There's a difference from the last time I bought Members Mark paper towels compared to the one I bought about a week ago. They are not as thick and I noticed I'm using twice as much now. I may not buy this item again.
Not like they used to be
JesConsumer RelationsGood Afternoon, We share your disappointment and we would like to try to assist as this is certainly not something we like t... - 3 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase3/10/2026We’ve been buying these for years, and now both the toilet paper and paper towels come less to a roll but the price has essentially stayed the same (more profit); and it’s not just Sam’s, it’s literally all companies. If I go into my Sam’s “purchase history” and find they ones I bought a few years ago, you can’t click “buy again” because the products have changed. Sam’s is the last big box store I expected this from, but this proves they’re just like the rest. Member shmember.
Declining Value of Purchase Since “The Big Reset”

They are thick enough and absorbent enough to tackle most cleaning jobs from kitchen to bathroom to kids to plus. I like the select a size. They are perforated enough to not rip off in the middle of the paper towel when trying to get off the paper towel holder. I have the name brand paper towels that Sam's carries in the house, they are a little thicker but they leave more lint. I like that they come individually wrapped so I can place them under the sink or cabinet in the rooms needed without worrying they are going to get dirty or beat up (I have kids and grandkids).
Paper towels
CJae50 - 1 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase4/14/2026They’re about an inch and a quarter shorter than Bounty so when you tear one off the roll the next one falls to the back. Maybe it doesn’t sound like a big deal but it really is. The reviews say they’re absorbent, but I haven’t found that to be true.
Inexpensive, but you do get what you pay for.

Spilled coffee before work? Handled. BBQ sauce incident? Contained. Mysterious kitchen liquid no one admits to creating? Erased from history. Strong. Absorbent. Unbothered. They soak up regret faster than I can say, “It’ll be fine.” The thickness? Impressive. The durability? Unshakable. The emotional support during chaotic meal prep? Underrated. 15 rolls may seem excessive — until life happens. Five stars. Because some messes don’t need discussion. They need removal.
They Cleaned What We Dont Speak Of
Jeff - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase1/30/2026I have been buying these for years they never disappoint. Now during the pandemic they had ran out so I purchased the Bounty brand. I think the bounty half size is a little wider and may be a tad more durable when really wet but the difference isn’t enough for me to stop buying this brand. These are great in the kitchen, bathroom and cleaning.
Buy them!
TamaraMG - 3 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase8/18/2026The rolls seem to be getting smaller and smaller but you're prices seem to be getting higer and higher. Not something I am willing to keep buying if this doesn't change
expensive for something thats getting thrown away

Also great to have the select a size for small to large messes
Excellent size
Thokel - 4 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase2/11/2026For inexpensive paper towels, they do their job. However they do tear easily, would be nice if they wouldn't seprate at the lslightest unintentual tug.
Inexpensive towels that still do their job
Momoffive - 3 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase2/16/2026They don't tear at the perforation so it defeats the purpose of using only a half sheet. Other than that they a good value but somebody needs to adjust the perforating machine
Tear at the perforation

NOT like the previous purchase. They tear easily, and not at the perforation. They are almost the same quality of cheap ones from Dollar General. SHRINKFLATION 100%.
Have become extremely thin and weak. Poor quality!

JulieConsumer RelationsGood Morning Julie, so sorry you had this recent experience. We would like to find out more information. If you still have t... - 4 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase10/19/2025This is the paper towel I buy. I'm very happy with it. I live in a small house so storing this huge bundle of paper. Towels is inconvenient but I don't have to buy paper towels very very long time. These paper towels do everything I need them to do except tear. For some reason the glue Union must be full steam ahead, but the perforation Union says hold back fellas don't press those perforations in too deep. I mean this is all in my imagination but lately nothing is perforated right. So I just had to come up with some excuse
Improve the perforations, get 5 stars
Crystal - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase8/25/2026spilled about 20 oz of chilled coffee on the floor. Didn't want to use a mop. Selected two sheets to make a full size, and wiped the coffee up & squeezed it back in the cup to be tossed. It took several wipe and squeeze process to complete the task but the paper towels held up. Then I added maybe a spray of water to the paper towels to keep the floor from being sticky!
Strong/longlasting/Absorbent

Member's Mark Paper Towels
Pam - 3 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase12/9/2025The Members Mark Paper Towels are terrible. The paper is not correctly perforated, so the sheets don't tear properly. This has been a problem for 2 or 3 packages of paper towel rolls. It's not just one or 2 rolls, it is ALL of the rolls. And my husband brought it up. I think the factory has a problem where the perforator metal piece is needing to be sharpened.
The Members Mark Paper Towels are terrible

You always get some of the next paper towel when pulling one off the roll
Not bad
Tracey - 2 out of 5 stars review7/31/2026I have been buying these paper towels for more than 8 years now, I noticed with the last 2 purchases that the towels are thinner, less absorbant, and the 2 plys keep coming apart when you tear them apart... even the ends. very little quilting on them anymore. I know walmart can afford to do better! let go of your greed!
declining quality

He’s worth it incomparable to bounty for a better price. Now they’re cheap and flimsy and the layers separate. Whoever made the decision to drop the quality of this item needs to fix their mistake. So tired of companies lowering quality and still expecting customers to still pay full price.
Huge drop in quality.
