- 1 out of 5 stars review8/11/2023Have been using these paper towels for years. This last batch was horrible. First off, there is no single sheet to tear. They are double sheets that are not perforated all the way through. So not only do you have to use more sheets because there is no single sheet, but they are not perforated all the way through. Hoping this is just one bad batch, but if the next one is the same, I will definitely purchase another brand.

It now takes nearly two towels to absorb as much as one was previously capable of absorbing. Enough of a disappointing change that I will now be reluctant to repurchase.

The last batch of paper towels I purchased recently felt as thin as toilet paper and the price increased so I would expect the quality would not change because of that alone. If the price stayed the same and the quality degraded that would be one thing but to go up several dollars on the price quality should not. Very dissatisfied for the 1st time with sams and now feel I'm going to have to pay close attention to see if quality has changed on other items now.

Even a Sam’s Club associate was unable to add it and said to order it anyway without the apt number. When the item was delivered, the FedEx person said that without the specific apt number the item could be sent back. He said he that he took extra time to ask around for my apt, but cannot guarantee that another delivery person would do the same. This was my first time to do an online order…not a good experience.

First time online order - 1 out of 5 stars review1/10/2018I have no idea what happened to these towels, but they aren't worth 10 cents! Two ply? Ok, they are...if you think a super thin tissue of sandpaper counts as a ply. They are flimsy, thin, scratchy....not near as soft and durable as they were. My husband thinks they feel oily or something. I always recommended the Member's Mark brand because they were equal if not better than the name brand. Well, guess I am going to the brand name. I have a huge batch of these to use up first. Guess I could return them...maybe I will.

However, something has drastically changed, the quality is no longer good and the paper towels are like 1-ply and see through and rip taking them off the roll, plus they no longer hold up to even wiping up anything or washing hands and grabbing a towel to dry off. We thought we just bought a bad batch, but this is the third and last time that we will spend that kind of money on these towels. They are really bad and not worth it anymore. Sam's quality has just gone downhill and prices going up all the time.

They are not the same...they are very rough and don't feel like they are the same quality. I had an old roll of unopened Supper Premium PT (dated March 23) and we did a comparison and it is very noticeable. The March package is soft and strong..the July package was rough and doesn't feel strong at all. Please change back...

Love that it is select-a-size, each roll comes individually wrap (keeping it clean/sanitized until needed), and holds up well. Tears easily off the roll and is not wimpy at all at cleaning up messes! Our 2 local Sam’s club closed a few years ago, but I keep my membership so that I can get on-line shopping & shipping and my nearest club is only a little over an hour away. Though I have multiple BJ’s & Costco nearby, Sam’s Club is still my absolute favorite!

I shouldn't have to put in the "Special Instructions" box to leave the products on my front porch, which is standard, where it's visually protected from the road by bushes. Instead, they put it out in front of my garage in the wide open for all to see & risk "porch pirates" stealing my products. The distance difference is merely 20 feet. That's lazy & unacceptable.

If you need full sheet, Sam's quit stocking them in their brand or any other. I keep my membership primarily for papergoods and produce. Sam's is forcing me to take my business elsewhere since they are no longer stocking what I need. This "membership" just isnt worth it anymore. Disapointed.

Recently though, something has changed. They are now more stiff and scratchy and do not tear as easily. I thought it was just me but my husband also noticed and complained they arnt tearing easily anymore. Hopefully it's just a bad batch and will go back to the softer and easier to tear ones.

They feel harder now, more uncomfortable. Still like the half size of tearing the paper. I liked to use them as a napkin, but now just to rough. Like on everything, prize went up for a less good product. But I will keep buying them.

I like the fact that I can use a small sheet for a small job or a bigger sheet for a bigger job and Sam's has kept them available through these tough times. That means a lot.
Only The Best When You Need It

The only downside was that the box, contained a disgustingly dirty box cutter, WITH THE BLADE OUT, which almost cut me. Customer Service didn't seem to think this was an issue. I am extremely grateful I didn't have my son open the box up. I cant even imagine what would have happened.

I used to buy the Bounty brand; however I tried these about 1 year ago and I was quite pleased with the quality. Now when I get them they disintegrate as you are using them. I shop Members Mark and my wife shops Kirkland. Did a side by side comparison for 2 months and Kirkland won. Kirkland more sheets per roll, sheets are bigger, softer, and more absorbent. Members Mark, please equal Kirkland's towels so I can justify buying. Thanks.
