We have used and loved these paper towels for 10 years, because they were "Super Premium" as advertised and just as good as the name brand that Sam's carries. They WERE very absorbent and luxurious for paper towels. However, we just bought a new package and found they have apparently changed the design, but not for the better. Now, they are very thin, hardly absorbent, and store-brand cheap. No longer even worth the price. I can't believe the difference. It wasn't even a subtle change they tried to make.

I have bought these paper towels for years and were the best. The past few I purchased have been terrible. Thought it was just a malfunction in production so tried more and they were same. They are more like the cheaper brands and pieces of the towels fall apart.

These are really good towels that are comparable to name brand ones. The problem is that on multiple rolls in this pack, many them had about three inches of some extra towel in middle the roll. This material is not cut so you have to rip through it to separate each individual towel.

Recently purchased these paper towels for the first time. Even though they are thin, I was happy with the value, until I used them. These paper towels have things embedded in them. I am not sure what some of them are? They range in colors of brown, gray and black. The gray and brown might be from cardboard? However, the black ? and look like embedded bugs. Paper towels should be sanitary, always! Some foods (sold at Sam's +) state to wrap in paper towels, when microwaving. I stopped buying them from a major grocery retailer, and switched to Sam's for that reason. I must say they are worse. I've never had a problem with ANY Member's Mark products until now. I am hopeful Sam's will investigate this issue. I can't be the only one who has experienced this, and yes it was every roll, and I had to throw them away.

I've used these for many many years and this last pack I picked up is way different than the others. I instantly noticed the texture was different and the thickness was different. It is about 1/2 the thickness as before. I will be buying a different brand from now on.

Same quality as always

I have used these paper towels for the last couple of years and always thought they were very good until my last purchase. The new ones don't tear correctly. When you pull on them they literally will not tear. You end up pulling 5 or 6 sheets at a time instead of being able to pull off half a sheet. The texture is very scratchy and not as absorbent. I hope they did not change them. These seem very low quality. More like you bought them at the dollar store.
