This is the perfect beer for watching sports and especially the World Cup! This lager is very hops forward, which I love. Modelo Especial is a very easy to drink lager. We purchased at a local larger liquor store that had a nice World Cup display with many different types of Modelo. We opted for just the Model Especial because we just wanted a good lager and not many flavors. The beer was such a good refreshing taste for a fun relaxing soccer game. I would recommend Modelo Especial and the flavors of chelada if interested in those. I would definitely purchase Modelo in the future as such a refreshing beer. I like the variety is offered for those non beer drinkers.

While most had heard of Modelo Especial, few had actually tried it. After giving it a try, our party guests were opening a second one! We enjoyed the robust taste sans the sometimes bitter taste that other brands have. I think I can sum up my guests reactions to the new brand by simply saying..... But that's the beauty of having both options available! While I stuck to the Oro, my guy friends went straight for the Modelo Especial and they could not stop raving about it.
