[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE Modelo Especial. This beer is a great solid standard lager beer when we go to restaurants or drink socially with friends. The crisp flavor is what keeps bringing me back. The flavor starts and finishes the same. With a little lime and salt on the rim it's perfect. I also like the Modelo Especial in a michelada drink it brings the entire drink together and makes it complete.

While most had heard of Modelo Especial, few had actually tried it. After giving it a try, our party guests were opening a second one! We enjoyed the robust taste sans the sometimes bitter taste that other brands have. I think I can sum up my guests reactions to the new brand by simply saying..... No Modelo Especial was left in the cooler while many bottles of our previous brand were still there!!!!!

Smooth and crisp flavors that kept up with the momentum and energy of everyone there. My friends, family and I would definitely recommend Modelo and I see myself purchasing more in the future.

But that's the beauty of having both options available! While I stuck to the Oro, my guy friends went straight for the Modelo Especial and they could not stop raving about it. They said it was incredibly refreshing and had that bold, satisfying lager taste that really hits the spot. According to them, it's exactly the kind of beer you want when you're watching a big game, spending a day at the pool, or heading to the beach. It pairs perfectly with those moments where you just want to kick back, relax, and enjoy a cold one. What I appreciated most was that the Modelo lineup had something for everyone. I didn't have to compromise anything: the women enjoyed the lighter, smoother Modelo Oro while the men were more than happy with the Especial. It made for a great night with a lot of variety. If you're someone who enjoys a classic, slightly bolder lager with a refreshing finish, Modelo Especial is absolutely worth trying. My friends would definitely buy it again!

I really loved the especial since the flavors were very bold but light and refreshing at the same time! I would definitely reccomend these for any get together or BBQ with family and friends!

Light, refreshing and delicious. The dark stands out the most with flavor and taste. Not to dark but the right balance. The Cheladas are his least favorite as he really isn't into flavored beers but he'll drink one now and than. We keep Modelo on our grocery list!!

Out of the whole lineup, this is the one we keep coming back to because it's so reliable and flavorful. It's deeply refreshing, crisp, and pairs perfectly with just about any food. Everyone at our gathering enjoyed it, and it really stands out for its high-quality, classic taste. I would absolutely recommend it to family and friends and will definitely be purchasing it again for our next occasion.
