Purchased to give these a try, especially at the bargan price. Just opened the package this week. First, these are snug at the top down to the ankle, causing the sock to drop. Second, after putting the socks on, I could see my skin through the socks. We have had a few very cool nights, 35-45 degrees, and these did not keep my feet warm. If you live in a warmer climate and have thin legs and calfs, these may work for you.

I bought these for my husband...they were too tight. I tried to use them myself, and I can't stand them either. I wear a women's size 8 shoe and am 130 lbs. I'll save a couple to use as a compression sleeve for my wrist when my carpal tunnel acts up (I've been using a crew sock that used to belong to my 3 year old daughter, but this sock is almost as tight and longer). Can't comment on the durability of the fabric of the sock as neither of us adults could wear them for more than an hour or so. Note that when the top of the sock is stretched open, I couldn't get it much wider than 5.5 inches. I agree with the reviewer who said the sock might only fit children.

Have bought these socks for as long as Sam's has offered them! They "WERE" great, comfortable, and long lasting socks but I guess nothing lasts forever. After wearing them a handful of times had to throw them out because of worn holes in heels and toes! Won't buy for myself again!

PLEASE bring back the old socks. The new ones are terribly tight at the top band and I've had the rest fall apart and end up bare after the first wash. The old design was tried and true, I STILL use those socks and have put the new one aside. Listen to your people! True statement: We started our membership just to have access to those amazing socks. There are/were none comparable!! BRING THEM BACK PLEASE!

My husband wears socks in the house all the time. We rarely go out so I don't know if the socks are wearing holes so quickly because of the hardwood floors, but these socks are the first ones he's had that got holes so quickly. Also, the tops would not fit someone with larger legs.

Like another review stated, I purchased these for years. Then last year I purchased a pack and went through them in a month. Literally had 2 pairs have toe holes after 1 day of uses (yes, I trim my nails). I am a delivery person so my feet are important. I throw each sock out of it gets any hole. I went back to $20 for 6 Dickies dri-tech and the 12 i bought are doing well after 1 year of abuse and washing. Down to 5 pairs.

Have always loved these socks, No more. Toes have holes after VERY LITTLE WEAR. Quality Control needs to wake up!
