not the same quality anymore

I’ve been buying these socks for years and they have always held up pretty well. The last bunch I bought back in October last year were a disappointment. These socks will develop holes in the heel area within just a few days and they will become worthless. I’m interested to know if anyone else has had the same problem.

Terrible quality now

White crew socks from Sam's Club have been my go to socks for decades. Manufacturer has changed and for the most part they've been tolerable. But this last pack is full on garbage. Thinner material. Less padded. They sit noticeably higher on my leg than previous ones. I guess it's time to spend the money and get different socks.

Literally %231 Reason for Membership

Best socks ever! I borrowed a pair from a friend one day when I forgot to pack mine. I loved them so much I had to research the brand and where to buy them because he only remembered buying them at a bargain store since the package was missing a pair but didn't remember the brand. Finally found them. These things take a beating and handle sweat. Super comfortable, I used to buy $15 a single pair of military socks to wear to the field. These are just as if not more comfortable and durable. If you bought a Sam's membership for just one thing, it would be these socks.

Great Quality has been Replaced by Cheaper Model

I've been buying these socks literally for the past 15 years. I still have many of the ones I originally bought. They've faded, but they're completely wearable. Each year, I buy more, both to replace those damaged from abuse and to make sure I have some brand new ones on hand. What's happened within the past few years is the quality has gone way down. The socks are much thinner, tear easily, get holes within a few wearings, and leave black marks on the floor and rug -- that's right, when wet, the dye will run on to surfaces. Socks in general have gotten cheaper in quality. I got some Hanes socks from a competitor, and they were even worse. But these socks not only were a good deal, they were the best of their kind I've ever had. It's a shame that Sam's Club is losing traction. Each time I go in the stores, there seems to be fewer people (and this started before the pandemic) and more workers just standing around. But now that the merchandise is going down hill, that's a bad, bad sign.

Disappointed

I bought these same socks a few years back and they are definitely not the same. They are tighter, made with more plastic than previously, and I've never seen so much lint/peeling in my life, I can't take my shoe off without making a mess. I would not recommend I'm tossing them and going to try and make my old pairs last a little long until I can find some good socks made from more cotton or anything other than toxic polyester.

Socks were great when made by Burlington not now

For years I bought my socks at Sam's Club and they were made by Burlington with the green line on the toes. They fit my size 15 feet well, made from heavy comfortable material, and last a long time. The pair I bought today, sold under the Member Mark brand have the same appearance, but the material is much different. It is much thinner and does not have the same stretch. I am very disappointed. If you needed to raise the price a couple of dollars, then do so, don't scrimp on the quality.

Garbage!

These are the only socks I’ve bought in the last 10 years at least 2 packs a year. I can’t even buy them anymore after this last purchase. Garbage! They shrink around your feet after you wash them. They have holes in the toes before you wear them the first time. I used to tell everyone to buy them now I tell them they are garbage.
