It’s been seven years, since the best vacation ever in Cancun, Mexico. Actually the entire Yucatán Peninsula, as I do look forward to another trip. On a bus trip there I enjoyed Modelo Especial beer, or as the locals called it “cerveza frio.” That’s how I like my beer, and getting a case last week, the price was higher than expected. It is an import from Mexico, and plus inflation is at record levels. At least it’s cheaper than gasoline, which is making my fill ups, bring along something to drink away the pain with. That was a joke, as I please ask respectfully, don’t drink and drive. Modelo is interesting. This is a good beer, but it lacks the distinctive taste to be considered anything above that. It’s a light beer with corn and honey notes. Very smooth too, and I think people will for the most part think it’s decent. Yet I doubt anyone hoists superlatives at this particular brew. They have a ways to go for that. Still I was happy for the stroll down memory road, and enjoyed this with various meals.

Had this for the very first time at a memorial weekend cookout with relatives. I must say I am not usually a beer drinker but I enjoyed the flavor of this brand. I got a very smooth robust flavor and make you feel very mellow. Modelo made a beer drinker out of me

As a son of a migrant from Mexico. I take pride in my heritage also being American I love the vast sports true to America including NASCAR! If Ross Chastain a Florida native (I live in Florida) drives the 1 car for Busch, would it not be great to have Daniel a Mexican racer drive the 99 with a Modelo schemed car?!? Imagine those beautiful colors of blue white and gold in victory lane?!?

I purchased a 24 oz Modelo Especial tall boy at my local shell gas station today. When cracked the top it was completely flat. The beer was ice cold, but completely flat, no crisp bubbly flavor whatsoever. I usually enjoy Modelo and confidently recommend it to others, but this experience has put a literal bad taste in my mouth.

Honestly I just liked the packaging & the bottle . It is unique to all the other ones . Its not great but it's not the worst for sure . Don't drink and drive & most of all do not drink unless you are over the age of 21 . This item is affordable & would recommend.

I don’t like the beer on its own. But, it’s my favorite beer to drink in a michelada. I love how fresh the beer is and it’s perfect for a summer night! I like the negra modelo more on its own I find it to taste smoother. This modelo on its own tastes very bitter to me.

I love this beer because it's not that strong, it actually goes down smoothly and it's better with tajin on it! i just love this beer, I would highly recommend this one for parties and any other events there is, it's almost all people's favorites and i would buy it again

Still one of my top beers. Although my flavor pallet has shifted to fruit flavors this is still a go to at venues,functions and parties. The flavor hasnt changed and the price is reasonable for the quality and flavor. I would buy this if my top beer is not available.

I'm not a fan of beer so I only drink it usually in the summer. Modelo is one of my top choices it's very light and has a great refreshing flavor. I like to add a bit of lime and salt to mine for taste. Price is affordable and if you want something light this beer definitely is the one all around great taste and refreshing for sure.
