As a native Washingtonian I am sorry to say that this is not my favorite chardonnay. I prefer the Sonoma County, Members Mark bottle to this one. Smoother and less acidic. Chardonnay is meant to be oaky. If you don't want it oaky, which gives it the buttery smooth taste and depth on the palate, drink Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio.

Coupled with a fruity start, this affordable wine was a perfect match with my pasta dinner. Upon my first sip, it had an acidic feel, but finished smooth.

The problem is, this Chardonnay was a little on the drier side (more than most Chardonnay wines) and I just wasn't expecting it!
