The bottle we had was only a year old which is VERY YOUNG for a red wine but my wife and I were amazed at the flavor and smooth, lasting finish on this wine. I will be buying several more bottles, let them age two or three additional years and I'm certain they will be even more outstanding. Five stars for the price and quality!

I typically choose white wines, but was visiting a friend and she drinks red. I don't know how to talk about wines, but this is smooth, not too dry or acidic. She said it does need some time to breathe before drinking. I would definitely recommend this wine

This is my go to red when I entertain. I've never had anyone who tried it say they didn't like it. It's super easy to drink and one of my all time favorite affordable wines. I promise that if you bring this both wine newbies and more experienced wine drinkers will be pleased.

Prisoner is such a good wine. if you haven't had such a wine on a date night then you're missing out on good stuff. I think they also make different wine labels under this brand. recently also a price increase because of the increased popularity but if you could get this on a sale then I say you scored well.

Love Prisoner red blend! Full body, smooth with hints of chocolate, oak, and berries—love it just the way it is every time! A bit on the higher end of what I would normally buy for casual night of sipping wine but sometimes ya just wanna treat yourself!

A friend brought this over as a hostess gift during a recent dinner party I was hosting. I hadn't heard of this wine before but after one sip, I was sold! The perfect crowd pleasing red and I love the packaging! Have repurchased multiple times since!

This is a very bold red wine, perfect for gifting around the holidays. I tend to hand ine, or two out every year around New Years, and it always goes over well. Not inexpensive in price, but inexpensive for the quality. A good one to bend your elbow to.

A very balanced mix of berries, dark chocolate, cloves and toasted wood. When smelling, its strong oak aroma is distinguished. Intense purplish red color. When tasted, it appears fruity, but not sweet, cherries and hints of smoke. Would definitely drink it again!

Great wine for the price. They have great selection of wines from Cabs, Merlot, Zin if this is your first time drinking wine. Pour into glass and let it sit for 20mins. On the nose, you will expect a bursting bouquet of cherries, dark chocolate, clove and roasted fig, followed by juicy ripe fruit flavours. Notes of raspberry and boysenberry with hints of pomegranate give way to a lingering taste of warm vanilla on the palate. A long, smooth finish lingers in your mouth
