I ended up purchasing the 11x7 Poppy greenhouse over the Memorial Day weekend, after reading a multitude of reviews. Based on those reviews I decided to give Backyard Discovery a chance. From delivery to final build I could not have been happier with the experience. As a DIYer, this was in my wheelhouse. What was most impressive was the build instructions, which were complimented by the online 3D app. The inventory list for each box was invaluable in saving time from having to look for the multitude of parts and hardware. To make the build easier, I set up a 6ft table in my garage and placed all of the hardware in plastic containers which were arranged numerically. This preparation will save an enormous amount of time searching for specific hardware. The quality of the cedar was very good, solid, and consistent. Throughout the build, the instructions actually had notes, in red, that were important “lookouts” so as not to make an error with regards to specific part orientation or sequence. As I worked my way through the build, the more impressed I became with the instructions and how I could tell that the folks responsible for the instructions were truly hands-on common sense engineers. My hat off to the company for their efforts in making these projects enjoyable along with providing a wonderful finished product…that appears to last. As with any quality build, if you do not ensure that the pad is level and the sidewalls are not square and level, you will not have an enjoyable experience. Backyard Discovery has hit a grand slam with their kits. Thank you for an enjoyable experience and wonderful sense of accomplishment that my wife will use and enjoy for years to come!

I absolutely love My 11 x 7 poppy greenhouse!! The directions were very thorough and easy if you take it step-by-step. The craftsmanship and quality of the greenhouse is like none other! I am so in love! It is absolutely magical. I added my own, finishing touches to it to make it uniquely mine but all of the detail and accessories that it comes with are absolutely amazing. I may just move into it!!

I finally have my beautiful greenhouse! I have been gardening for many years using my basement and 3rd floor finished attic to start and grow seedlings. My new Poppy Greenhouse is perfect for my needs. It took me & my son-in-law about a month to build. The assembly booklet was easy to follow and all the parts fit together nicely. I sealed all the wooden parts first by using the Garden Box sealer. I highly recommend using a paint sprayer to do this ... I did. The greenhouse looks beautiful and it even has lots of shelf space and hookups for water and electricity. It was fun to build and I love it!

We are thrilled with our greenhouse! It looks fabulous in our yard. The quality of the materials is wonderful. Our main purpose is to over winter outdoor plants and be able to start spring seedlings outside. Although it was many steps to assemble, the directions are straight forward. We used the paper and Bilt directions. Total actual build time was about 14 hours. Our only issues were weather related. Unable to doing all the sealing of the wood and the sealant on the roof panels to due extreme heat and humidity (Florida in the summer), We added a small patio on front and ran a water line from the house. We have started fall seedlings and look forward to doing all are spring seedlings and overwintering our outdoor plants. We never write reviews, but felt this product was beyond our expectations.

Overall, love my new Greenhouse. I was hesitant to make the investment, but well worth it if you’re looking to grow year-round. The materials are high quality and everything fit together like a glove. Assembly instructions are well written but the 149 steps and hundreds of pieces will take multiple days to assemble. You will need an extra hand getting the walls up. Presorting the wooden parts as recommended takes time and space but made it a lot easier to find the pieces needed for each step. I love the finishing touches to the interior (benches, shelving, vents…). In the planning stages for what to plant this fall and grow over the winter. Plus room for a couple of chair to enjoy the warmth.

My new sanctuary for sure!!It has everything I need. I have a radio always playing for plants,and lights at nights, a fan when it’s hot ,and running water!! It is magical in my 11x7 Poppy’s greenhouse that was so easy to put together. We have weather sealed it.

Backyard Discovery 9x6 Poppy Greenhouse Review Assembly This isn’t a weekend “pop it together in two hours” kind of project. This is an adult LEGO set on steroids. Every beam, panel, and bolt has its assigned place, and the instructions will happily test your patience, eyesight, and ability to distinguish “Panel A” from “Panel A (slightly shorter).” My advice: treat this like a marathon, not a sprint. Lay everything out, stay hydrated, and keep snacks within arm’s reach. The trick is not to hurry—slow and steady wins the greenhouse. Quality & Design Once assembled, though? Wow. This isn’t just a greenhouse—it’s backyard jewelry. The cedar frame is genuinely gorgeous, sturdy, and smells like you just stepped into a woodshop. The polycarbonate panels let in light beautifully, turning the whole thing into a glowing lantern by late afternoon. It doesn’t feel like a plastic garden gadget—it feels like real architecture. Practical Use Inside, it’s surprisingly spacious. The 9x6 footprint is enough room to start seeds, baby your tomatoes, or indulge in a nursery shopping spree without judgment. Ventilation is well thought out, and the frame feels solid even when the wind picks up. It’s not exactly storm-shelter material, but for everyday garden life, it’s more than up to the task. Packaging Notes If I could change one thing, it would be how the parts are packaged. Right now, the system feels designed to ship neatly for the company—not to build easily for the customer. You’ll find yourself opening Box 3 for a part you needed ten steps ago, then rummaging through Box 1 for its matching bolts. It would be far more user-friendly if each stage of the build came grouped together, even if it meant a few more boxes. The greenhouse itself is worth the work, but the packaging could definitely do more of the heavy lifting in helping the builder stay organized. The Verdict Would I do it all over again? Absolutely. Building it takes patience (and maybe some light cursing), but once you step back, the effort feels completely worth it. It’s beautiful, functional, and oddly satisfying to know you built it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five stars for the product. Four stars for the temporary hit to my sanity during assembly.

I really can’t say enough good things about greenhouse. The room and shelves are perfect!! Having water and electricity are so handy. The fan and windows along with the vents make the Oklahoma weather bearable. It’s just perfect!!! Get you one!!!

There's alot of parts and can seem overwhelming. But it turned out to be not so bad to build once you got started. I was able to build it in 8 hours with one other person. The quality is good and the design is beautiful. Can't wait until spring to fill it with food.
