Not durable

I’m extremely disappointed with the durability of my Michelin tires. I purchased them just about a month ago, expecting the quality and reliability the brand is known for. Unfortunately, after a very normal driving experience, one of my tires already has noticeable sidewall damage. This was not due to reckless driving, but from a common road condition that any tire should reasonably withstand. For a premium-priced tire, I expected much better durability and resilience. It’s frustrating to invest in a trusted brand only to experience damage so quickly after purchase. Tires are supposed to provide safety and peace of mind, and right now, I’m feeling the opposite. I am hoping Michelin will stand behind their product and consider a replacement or some form of support, as this experience does not reflect the quality I believed I was paying for.

Lexus LS460 Ribber

Bought these tires for my "New to Me" 2012 Lexus LS460. Ride improved greatly. These tires are also very quiet. While my car isn't a sports car, it does have a top speed of 150+, so I needed a "Z" speed rating. While it doesn't like to be pushed, the grip does feel more stable. Over all highly impressed with these tires.

Good all-around tire

These are excellent "all-around" tires that provide reasonable traction in rain/snow/ice, allowing me to go through up to 6 inches of snow this winter without difficulty. This is surprising, given that my Cadillac CTS4 Performance Coupe is quite low, and has staggered tire sizes. The rear "steamrollers" should NOT do well in the snow, but yours do. On dry pavement, the ride is as smooth as can be expected in a low-profile tire, and handling is quite good. It is not as good as a dedicated, high-performance summer tire but, again, it is a great compromise.

Only the Best

Have now purchased 4 sets of these tires for 3 BMWs (X1, X5 and a 7 series). I wont purchase any other tire if I can help it. These are the best tires on the planet and I hope they continue to improve. Cant wait for the AS 5's to come out. They offer extreme grip in wet and dry and corner like on rails. I do get some snow in Virginia and these tires are adequate for light snow. I've never lost traction on any surface. Its why my family only runs these tires on all our vehicles.

Overpriced Underperforming Product

Absolutely disappointing product and quality . Bought a car that came with these underperforming overpriced tires that were installed at 12,500 miles on an audi s5 at just 22,500 miles 2 of these tires blew up on me on the road as i was driving 35mph and the other 2 they’re already down to about 5/32 thread life i hear these are warranted until 45k miles but ill be lucky to get 7k miles out of the two that are left honestly will never be purchasing from this brand as they like to mark up their prices based on their brand prestige but they really fall short of what they are giving their customers. I would honestly recommend to people considering buying this tire to go with a cheaper alternative like a yokohama or continental as they arent perfect either but atleast you wont break your wallet by overpaying for a tire that can easily explode and wear out like the michellin ps4 ‘s . Never again will i use Michelin products not even for free i honestly don’t see the justification for the price of this tire especially since lots of customers constantly report that these

Best mileage yet.

Tire performs well. Tires are on BMW 330Ci. Have tried a few other brands. Would normally achieve half (20 to 24k) of recommended tread life. These Pilot Sport AS4 tires have provided the longest durability achieving 40k of tread life. Plus, they handle well and provide a great driving experience.

Can't recommend

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend these tires. This review comes after driving 50,000kms, city and long distance highway driving in an AWD vehicle. Tire size is 265/40R/21. Maybe this tire is not ultimately suitable for a low profile vehicle, I'm not sure. As I often read reviews before making a purchase, and I did before purchasing this tire, I feel compelled to write a review with my experience. In my opinion, this tire lacks stability and handling ability. They've always felt slippery in rain and though the first year was somewhat bearable in snow, since then they've been poor. On dry surface they roll into (vs. over) any groove in the road (think crack in the road that has been filled with tar); the tires feel like they are sinking into the tar. They've never felt like they have enough air, though I've repeatedly checked the level. Today, I felt like I was 'skating' while driving in 2cm of snow. No traction whatsoever. I have always put Michelin tires on my cars and have always been happy with them. Sadly, that hasn't been the case with this one. I will consider another Michelin tire, I just can't recommend this one.

look for better, avoid these trash tires.

not a durable tire. 2765 miles on developed a sidewall bubble that meant the entire tire needed to be replaced after michellin attempted to bland road hazard instead of manufact defect and during mechanics showed steal not intact and bubble was close to catastrophic bursting that may have lead to loss of control or accident. not readily available to be replaced been waiting 2 weeks. mechanics verified no road savage curb damage or accident or rim or tire cabbage to support anything but manufacturers defect with less than 0.1 mm tread used. look for better tires.

The BEST

I have purchased hundreds of sets of tires over the years... from winter tires to work tires for our vans to race track slicks... nothing beats Michellin... hands down. Michellin tires are always the smoothest ride, best traction and longest lasting tires... and I've tried most other brands. I would only buy Michellin's no matter what vehicle I have. The BEST!

Great Tires!

I have a 2022 Mini Cooper 2 Door Hardtop. I did not like the tires the came with the car. The ride was horrible, and I could never get them balanced well. I'm extremely happy with the Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires. They have improved the ride, handling is better and I can balance the tires. The only complaint is that that my gas milage has dropped just a bit especially on the road.
