I recently tried Modelo Especial, and I was pleasantly surprised! It’s a smooth, well-balanced lager with a clean, crisp taste and just the right amount of bitterness. It has a slightly sweet malt flavor that makes it very easy to drink — refreshing but with character. It pairs really well with spicy food and BBQ, and it’s definitely a great choice for hot days or casual get-togethers. This is my one husband's favorite beers. I like the shorter bottles because the fit in the mini fridge a better than the taller ones. I don't care of the foil on the top as I find it everywhere and it causes more trash. Overall it's a good Mexican beer.

My favorite go to beer a ice cold bottle of Modelo with lime and salt! I get it all the time it’s perfect the way it is. It’s has a clean smooth flavor easy to drink and refreshing! Most of my friends and family get cases of Modelo for get a together or parties and it’s nice to to have a cold one waiting in the fridge when I get home from a long day.

The absolute best beer you will ever taste. Add a little tajin and maybe some chamoy and you’ll never turn back. I occasionally go on a fast and diet to a low calorie beer but let me tell you… there is nothing like having an ice cold Modelo. You will not regret it. It will definitely give you “the fighting sprit”.

For a Mexican you can never go wrong with modelos. It's always modelo time when it comes to me and this one is definitely my go to for any event or party or even just a simple kickback. It doesnt tastes like water as I would say about other beers but it doesnt taste too sour and bitter like others aswell it's just perfect.

Lately I have bought modelo from my local grocery store and the beer tastes like metal. I tried another thinking it was a fluke and it tastes like blood or metal in the beer. I researched it apparently it’s the process of the beer making and the metal piping is so degraded it’s leeching into the beer. Modelo is NOT safe for human consumption due to the metal content.

It's perfect with mexican food, rather have this than a corona. It has a nice taste and even nicer when you have had a few.. I personally wouldn't change it and the packaging is nice and well.. I like bottles better tho and yes I would buy it again when I'm feeling a Mexican food day
