It’s been seven years, since the best vacation ever in Cancun, Mexico. Actually the entire Yucatán Peninsula, as I do look forward to another trip. On a bus trip there I enjoyed Modelo Especial beer, or as the locals called it “cerveza frio.” That’s how I like my beer, and getting a case last week, the price was higher than expected. It is an import from Mexico, and plus inflation is at record levels. At least it’s cheaper than gasoline, which is making my fill ups, bring along something to drink away the pain with. That was a joke, as I please ask respectfully, don’t drink and drive. Modelo is interesting. This is a good beer, but it lacks the distinctive taste to be considered anything above that. It’s a light beer with corn and honey notes. Very smooth too, and I think people will for the most part think it’s decent. Yet I doubt anyone hoists superlatives at this particular brew. They have a ways to go for that. Still I was happy for the stroll down memory road, and enjoyed this with various meals.

I'm not a fan of beer so I only drink it usually in the summer. Modelo is one of my top choices it's very light and has a great refreshing flavor. I like to add a bit of lime and salt to mine for taste. Price is affordable and if you want something light this beer definitely is the one all around great taste and refreshing for sure.

Yes Finally!!Been a long week long day, going through it if you know what I mean.Dealing with family ,work, life and all the above.Thos is the perfect time to go and get you one of these cold bad boys and add some salt lime, and there you go it's Modelo time.

You want a beer? This is a beer. It tastes like a beer and you can drink a decent amount without completely hating your life. Actually has flavor for cheap beer, but that could just be the stale corn chips your washing down. Definitely my go to beer when I have to make the beer run. Haven’t seen anyone turn one down yet.

Grupo Modelo S.A. de C.V. Notes: Brewed as a model of what good beer should be, this rich, full-flavored Pilsner-style Lager delivers a crisp, refreshing taste. Well-balanced taste and light hop character with a crisp, clean finish. Modelo Especial is characterized by an orange blossom honey aroma with a hint of herb.

I purchased a 24 oz Modelo Especial tall boy at my local shell gas station today. When cracked the top it was completely flat. The beer was ice cold, but completely flat, no crisp bubbly flavor whatsoever. I usually enjoy Modelo and confidently recommend it to others, but this experience has put a literal bad taste in my mouth.

I love this beer because it's not that strong, it actually goes down smoothly and it's better with tajin on it! i just love this beer, I would highly recommend this one for parties and any other events there is, it's almost all people's favorites and i would buy it again

Modelo is my all time favorite beer. Modelo is a great way to relax alone, or with friends and family. I like my Modelo straight, in an iced glass, or with some Clamato. It has a nice clean flavor and isn't too heavy. Modelo can be found almost everywhere you look, from grocery store, liquor store, restaurants, and even airports. If you want to try something new, clean, refreshing, and worth every penny, try a Modeo!😊

Omg crisp clean and refreshing. An easy beer to drink and not babysit till it’s warm and flat because it’s so good. The packaging is nice and I gotta say I love their marketing and commercials. Definitely would recommend for a fun night with friends or just for a beer or two with the spouse.
