I've never had Modelo from a can, but the bottles stuff is kind of sweet. When I first tried it, I was instructed to out lime and salt in it and I honestly thought it was nasty. I tried a while later and just drank it as is and it is actually much better by itself. I wouldn't mind being handed a closed one of these at a party.

Wow. This beer is superior. It's not too heavy that it makes you feel full, and the perfect amount of ABV. I wish they would come out with a twist off or more easily accessible mini bottles. Will definitely continue to purchase, as I always have it on hand!

Modelo Especial has a special place in my heart. It's basically a Corona with a different label slapped on it, but it's just has a little something extra. This is the best I want to drink when I'm relaxing on the beach. It's cheap, it's tasty, and it's refreshing.

Modelo Especial has a Mexican beer flavor. It is crisp and refreshing taste. It has a light, slightly malty flavor with little of sweetness. The beer is well-balanced with reasonable price. This beer finish with moderate bitterness contribute to its easy drinkability. You can enjoy as a straightforward and enjoyable beer, especially when served cold. The bootle is fat which makes it unique, but it is hard to grasp it for long time

Great taste and much rather drink a Modelo than a Corona when it comes to Mexican beer. It is a much richer taste and its a lot smoother. I also like the different shape of the bottle. Great beer overall, another one of my go to beers and would recommend.

I'm a fan of beer, but typically bourbon is preferred. I've tried just about every beer on the market. I hadn't bought it in such a long time I decided to get some to change things up. I hadn't realized how much the cost of beer had gone up in the last year or two. I don't know if I've ever bought Especial and it's probably been a decade or more since I've tried it. It was on sale so I figured I'd give it a try. It's ok, but it doesn't do anything special for me. I like niche beers, IPA's and some microbrewery stuff. For those that say this is the BEST beer probably haven't branched out and tried many others. Yes, it's mild and refreshing, but there's not much flavor. Maybe similarly to a Corona you can get more out of it with some salt and lime, but you shouldn't have to modify it to make it better. I do like a Modelo Negra with a twist of lime while at a taqueria as that has more to offer than Especial. This is by no means a bad beer and it's definitely better than domestics like Budweiser and Coors, but it's not the 'best.'

Beer is really good especially for it being in a can, the price is very fair and I enjoy the taste! I'm a regular buyer of this beer. Same taste with less calories would be awesome! The packaging is good but maybe more color would be better, I would absolutely buy this beer again.

Recently decided to try this beer, and now my sons and I enjoy it quite regularly. If I were to change anything about it, it would be the foil wrapping at the top. It's rather unpleasant to get foil in your mouth and bite it. If it were not glued to the bottle so close to the top it would be real easy to remove.
