Modelo Especial is my go to drink. I like the taste and it is not to bitter or any after taste like other beers. This is my fave of the Modelo drinks.

We tried the Modelo Chelada Especial pack and the traditional Modelo Especials. The Modelo Especial was refreshing and crisp as always! The chelada style was unique and great if you’re looking for some familiar Modelo with the flavor of a michelada. The Mango & Chile Modelo Chelada stood out the most due to the refreshing mango flavor with some spice of the chile. The Modelo Especial is the the original refreshing beer I’d drink when watching soccer which is what I would recommend to my friends and of course buy again!

It is incredibly refreshing, crisp, and pairs perfectly with casual party food. Holding a cold Modelo while relaxing outside with family and our dog made the day even better. It’s definitely our go-to drink for future family get-togethers!

The flavor is well-balanced with a light malt sweetness and just the right amount of hop character. Whether you’re relaxing after a long day, grilling with friends, or enjoying a meal, Modelo pairs well with just about anything. Served ice cold with a lime, it’s hard to beat. Consistently great taste and quality every time. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a refreshing, easy-drinking beer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Modelo Especial is a well-balanced Mexican lager that has earned a strong reputation for being approachable, refreshing, and consistently drinkable. It pours a clear golden color with a light white head and offers subtle aromas of malt, grain, and a hint of sweetness. Taste The flavor is clean and crisp, featuring light malt sweetness, mild hop bitterness, and notes of bread and corn. It is smooth without being overly heavy, making it easy to enjoy on its own or alongside food. Pros * Crisp and refreshing finish * Smooth, easy-drinking character * Pairs well with tacos, grilled meats, seafood, and spicy dishes * Consistent quality and flavor Cons * Limited complexity compared with craft lagers or specialty beers * May taste too mild for drinkers who prefer stronger hop or malt flavors Overall Modelo Especial succeeds as a versatile lager that appeals to a wide range of beer drinkers. Its balance of light sweetness, gentle bitterness, and refreshing finish makes it a reliable choice for casual gatherings, barbecues, or warm-weather drinking. While it may not offer the complexity sought by some beer enthusiasts, it delivers exactly what many people want from a premium lager: clean flavor, smooth drinkability, and consistency.

While most had heard of Modelo Especial, few had actually tried it. After giving it a try, our party guests were opening a second one! We enjoyed the robust taste sans the sometimes bitter taste that other brands have. I think I can sum up my guests reactions to the new brand by simply saying..... No Modelo Especial was left in the cooler while many bottles of our previous brand were still there!!!!!
