I wasn’t a huge fan of the Modelo Chelada, I feel the ingredients take away from the beer and weigh it down. I would purchase the Modelo Lagers again.

I've always liked Modelo, so it was nice having a few different options to put out when friends came over. The Modelo Especial had that classic lager taste I expected, the Modelo Oro was lighter and easy to drink, and the Chelada Especial added something different with more flavor. The variety worked well because there was something for everyone. Some guests liked the lighter Modelo Oro, while others went for the regular Modelo Especial. For me, Modelo Especial still stood out the most because it has that smooth, familiar taste I've always enjoyed. Overall, I thought the lineup was refreshing, flavorful, and a good balance of light beer, classic lager, and chelada-style flavor. The overall experience with the Modelo Lagers and Cheladas is to start with the Lagers first then save the Cheladas for the hangovers. Or mix the cheladas with the lagers. You have options! The party guests enjoyed the Modelo Lagers more than the Modelo Cheladas as the Modelo Cheladas are more of an aquired taste. All of the lagers were refreshing and flavorful in their own way. You cannot go wrong with Modelo- Modelo's lineup offers the right balance of lightness, classic lager taste, and chelada style ingredients! The Modelo Oro stood out the most to me as it is the most classic out of the entire Modelo lineup offered and it was light and flavorful.
