This Cetaohil cleanser (purple lid/pump) was originally prescribed this for my husband’s terrible acne after ProActiv stopped working. That was over a decade ago and his acne stays gone. You have to be consistent to maintain a clear face. Hope someone sees this review and chooses to try it; It works!

This face wash leaves my skin feeling smooth and oil-free. It’s foaming which makes for easy application, and I like the lightness of it - especially in the shower. Overall, a good product to use for people with oily skin types.

My face is super oily and when my dermatologist recommended this product I was a tad skeptical. I use it in the mornings and evenings, and it’s become a need in my daily routines….which includes before applying my primer and makeup.

A cleanser that won’t dry out combination skin

This is the worst Cetaphil face wash I have ever purchased. It’s a foaming face wash that does not clean your face it’s like water there’s not even a light feel of cleanliness. I have oily skin and can say there’s on oily feeling after washing my face. It’s not a good face wash if you’re trying to remove makeup. This maybe good for someone that doesn’t wear makeup or isn’t oily at all. I will NOT purchase this again.
