Some Large where visible, smalls are hidden.

The size of the chicken varies. The large ones are clearly visible, yet they hide the small tiny chicken thighs the size of a wing-sized flat tucked underneath the larger ones often under part of the plastic that is not transparent. It's obvious deception at its best. I save those and when have several I shred them after cooking to add to soups or rice as bite, or when I make a batch of wings. I now trace the edges of each thigh through the plastic with my finger to see if any smalls are hidden. You have to sort through 4 or 5 packages to find one with all large sizes members expect.

Member's Mark Chicken Thighs

Important to me: NO Antibiotics, NO added hormones or steroids, NOT cage raised. Truth be told, they're possibly confined to a huge chicken barn but free to move around, although I don't know that for a fact. Still, for store-bought chicken these always have a good taste and when they're reasonable priced I stock up on them.

De-Bone a Chicken Thigh?

When you purchase chicken thighs, you usually have a choice (often one or more of the products is not available) of selecting skin-on/bone-in or skinless and boneless for about twice the price per pound. It is is simple matter (ninety seconds @) using kitchen shears, to remove the bone from the thigh. Since this retains some skin which is fatty, the resulting cheaper chicken thigh is reportedly more moist and tasty (fat carries taste) than the noticeably drier skinless/boneless chicken thigh. Cleaning up the grill is a bit messier due to the extra fat. Either way, chicken thighs have become a preferred go-to standard at our place as they are tastier than breasts even while they are less expensive.

Fresh, Large Chicken Thighs, great price!

For the price, I’m not going to complain about the minimal amount of fat I had to trim. Always a deal, fully plucked, fresh, clean and ready to be divided up for vacuum sealing and freezing for cooking later. Curbside pickup did a great job picking packages with a good expiration date.

Good value

If if you don't mind trimming some of the fat or cutting off a partial back bone these are a good value. Less expensive than the local grocery stores, which may or may not be well trimmed. I do repackage and freeze according to our needs. These are a repeat purchase for us

Best Pricing

When it comes to chicken, if you do not own a Sams Card go purchase one. The chicken in the grocery stores is so expensive and I find that the savings we receive in Sams beats anything else. The quality of the meat is good and well-priced. I typically stock up if on sale and store in the freezer. I love the fact that the thighs are well packaged.

Love These Chicken Thighs with the Skin + Bone!

I have bough for years. Tastes consistently great and good sizes. Price is better than the grocery store. I have used for frying, grilling, soups and baking. Sometimes they will have feathers on them so watch for that. I typically separate it into two for two meals and freeze. Sometimes I have used it when I need skinless and boneless thighs and none are available, takes about 20minutes to do it yourself.

Clean packaging & fresh offerings

One has to be a savy customer and know the prices when shopping. Sam's Club chicken thighs are my go~to except when competitors offer their thighs 40 cents per pound cheaper. The big concession I then make is allowing messy, raw, chicken~juice covered packaging into my online shopping cart at the competitor's curb side pickup. It's then too, I buy other items at the competitors to make the drive in the Opposite direction Worthwhile. Sams Club chicken is always hygenetically packaged. No raw chicken~juice packages found EVER.

Fish

I wish you had some wild caught vs farm raised fish. Wouldn't need to buy chicken all the time
