Generally this salad is a good base to add your own chicken if you want it more filling. Sometimes the broccoli and kale pieces are large and unpleasantly tough or bitter. It is easy to pick out those pieces.

Have had many of these over the last several months. They are always fresh with several days on the ‘Use By’ date. The dressing is very good and plentiful - we never use all of it.

I love this salad. I pair it with boiled eggs and chicken or tuna to add even more protein and health value. I also use a different dressing, but the nix of greens and seeds and cranberries really take the flavor to another level if you are a salad lover! I buy it regularly, but there has been the rare occasion when I purchased a bag that was not as fresh as it almost always is.
