Nowhere near 60k miles

I bought these Premier LTX 265/60R18 tires with 52k miles on my F150, 23k mikes later and I am having to get new tires due the tread being chewed up and signs of dry rot....after 23k miles these tires have to be replaced. I highly doubt I will ever buy Michelin again. Premier price, substandard performance.

SJ, we're sorry to read that there was a problem with your tires. The warranty covers workmanship and materials for 6 years from the date of purchase. One of our team members will be in touch to work with you and your retailer on initiating a warranty claim.

Only lasted 27k miles

Bought the Premier LTX for our SUV and they only lasted a little over 27k miles (mostly interstate miles). The tires were maintained and rotated regularly, so they wore evenly but after 1 year and 7 months they were down to the wear indicators. Imagine my surprise when having the vehicle checked for winter the technician came back with "all is good except you need tires". I replied with you must have the wrong vehicle and after checking and seeing for myself - I immediately went to the location I purchased them from and they agreed without a problem. The tires had failed miserably. I went with a different brand - sorry Michelin but you cost me money. Very disappointed.

Chunks are coming off the tread of my tires!

Like the review with the photos, my tires have suddenly started doing the same exact thing! My vehicle has 32,000 miles on it (2019 Cadillac XT5) and chunks of rubber are now missing from the tread of my tires, and the rubber is cracking and peeling off just like the images the previous reviewer posted. I would not recommend this tire, at all.

Premature Tread Wear

These came on my new 2017 Cadillac XT5. I currently have 20,000 miles. I was in for an oil change and tire rotation and the Cadillac dealer said the tires at the minimum tread depth and my not be safe for the Michigan winter. I should consider replacing and also that GMAC will hit me with a penalty when I turn in the vehicle in September 2020

2022 Highlander XLE

Michelin Premier LTX came preinstalled on 2022 Toyota Highlander XLE. After 15000 miles, the tires are already less than half the tread life and was recommended by Toyota to have them replaced. Barely getting half the total tread life is not something I would want from a tire manufacturer.

2022Highlander, we're sorry that you are disappointed in the mileage received thus far. If the tires are half way worn, there is considerable tread remaining. A representative will be in touch to discuss this further with you.

Smooth Ride

I went back to the tire shop returned the "NASCAR blimp" brand and bought these Premier LTXs instead. Right off the bat the car was quiet and smooth. Overall these seem to be great tires. Good wet traction. Haven't tried them in snow yet since it's July but they should do alright compared to other Michelin's I have owned. In terms of the wear life of these tires that everyone seems to complain about...I don't quite understand why Michelin decided to take off 2/32nd of rubber from the beginning and still say they are safe. A new tire should come with at least 10/32nds of tread not 8/32nds. In 90% of the US that would be fine but in the midwest where snow flies, I disagree. If they wear prematurely there is a warranty for a reason. Overall I think these tires will serve anyone well.

Absolute waste of money.

I put a full set of these tires on my Hyundai Entourage Minivan in September 2021. After just 13K miles, the tread depth is down to 4/32". Extremely disappointed that the 60K mile warranty tires has not even lasted 15K miles. I did not expect a product like this from Michelin.

Vijay, we can see how frustrating this is. Fortunately, the mileage warranty will allow credit based on the mileage received toward a new set of tires. A member of our team will be in touch to work with you and your retailer in initiating a claim.

Terrible Tread Life

Purchased these tires for a 2012 Kia Sedona mini van, expecting great traction and long tread life. At first, the traction was great but the ride was a bit rough. The first winter had good traction with around 8000 mile range on tires. Second winter with around 20000 miles, traction was terrible and unsafe. Checked tire tread. FAILED. Had to replace tires with only 21,321 miles.

Very dissapointed

I am kind of shocked to see so many of drivers having same experience as mine. Very bad tread life. I have put these tires at BJS on my Subaru Outback, 2015 at close to 50K miles and now my car mechanic say they are in bad shape and need to replace asap. Miles drove less than 30K!!!! Did rotation every 6K with oil change. Warranty claimed 60K. They are not cheap either. This is really bad and disappointing from Michelin. I want my money back, trust is broken.

Nice tire, but a 60K tire worn out at 40K miles? Bad...

Took in our 2017 Lexus RX350 F-sport for maintenance, and I was notified that our car, with 40k miles on it, needs new tires very soon. Sure enough, I checked, and the tread is nearly gone...this is on tires that are supposed to last 60k miles? That just plain sucks. The tire itself performs well, but the longevity for a supposedly premium tire is garbage. Tires are original from car that was purchased brand new.
