GREAT CHLORINE!

Bought big name brand prior that I have been using for years. The tablets were not individually wrapped and it did not last as long as the ones that were wrapped. MM chlorine are individually wrapped and are longer lasting that the ones I bought at Lowe's. Water looks great and water readings are where they belong. Highly recommend.

Check your bucket!

This review is not about the actual product, I am sure it is great. This review is about the need to weigh your bucket to ensure you aren't buying 35lbs instead of 40. I purchased 2 buckets from a pallet that had obviously been picked through some. I took a couple buckets that were still on the pallet and I thought had been unmolested. Loaded them in the cart paid and took them home. Upon unloading them together for the first time (one in each hand) I could tell one was lighter. When weighed on my home scale is just over 33 lbs so including the bucket I was shorted probably 18-20 tablets at more than a buck a piece. If it weren't such an inconvenience I would have loaded them back up to exchange them but I am chalking it up to stupid tax. Next time I will make sure to do a better job of judging the weight.

I use this product. I have a 15,000 gallon in ground concrete pool and live in Florida, where we get tons of summer rains. I have no problem with this product. I use about tablet a week and in the summer I add a gallon of liquid chlorine every couple weeks as shock treatment. This product seems to do the job. I do how ever add stabilizer every April and then maybe once during the middle of the summer.

After 1 yr

Price to quality and quantity is very acceptable. I consider my pool one of my luxuries because of the expenses and the time to take care of it. I live in Las Vegas NV and when is hot here you want to live at the bottom of the pool if that's even possible. The product offers me the mim level of sanitizing that I need. I use also the sun shock from Samsclub and that's what keeps my pool clean. I am pleased with the product and I would recommend to others (that educate themselves on how to properly use it).

Chemical Burns

We have bought this chlorine two years in a row. Last year my daughters experienced some skin irritation but not to bad. However, this year, everytime my kids swim they get chemical burns in different areas. My daughter got eight chemical burns after one swim. We had the chlorine level tested and it was normal to below normal so we know it wasn’t too much. I had my friends kids over to swim and they also had chemical burns after swimming. I felt awful. Needless to say, we will NEVER purchase this horrible product again!

Ignore bad reviews

I have bought my chlorine at Sams whenever they have it. I had my own above ground pool (28' around) and used these for years--far less costly than other brands and works just as well. I also pick them up at Sam's for my daughter's inground pool, and they are about 30 bucks cheaper than her pool place. So yep, no sense in spending more for the same type of product that works exactly the same.

Too much cyanuric acid in the tablets!!!!

I purchased these because I thought it was a great deal...well, I had to drain my pool by July because too much Cyanuric Acid (stabilizer) had built up. I will never buy these again, cost me so much more in the end, garbage chemicals!!! The chlorine content is much lower than other brands that may cost a little more!!

Seems Good But

I DO NOT RECOMMEND!! I tried these out because the chemical composition is the same as the tabs I purchase from a local pool supply. Definitely NO comparison, these tabs had dissolved within 3-5 days. I take care of my own pool and once a week I do chemicals and update tabs--Saturday evening. The tabs from the pool supply store last over a week, so I'm usually not replenishing 8 tabs weekly. I also have the floater with pop-up on its back to show me it's empty, so when I saw it sideways on Thursday, I thought something had happened with a storm, but no, it was completely empty!! I'll be returning these and sticking with my pool store.

How did your "CHLORINE" tablets work?

They're chlorine tablets... They work great and they are a heck of a lot cheaper here. I'm reading some of the reviews and they're talking about the shock treatments. If you're going to rate this product, please make sure it's for the chlorine tablets only. Thank you.
