I have used this wonderful salted butter since the early 70's. I use one lb. per week and I am a widow 83 yrs. old. This past two months I have noticed a change in the color, hardness and the taste. Did you change you receipe? It does not taste as buttery. I use no other product and will continue to do so until I cannot live alone or cook anymore

I've been using Land o Lake in my recipes for over 10 years... Approximately a year ago I noticed a change and thought it was my imagination. You had to change the fat content because all my product are different.. What a shame.. I need a specific amount of butter fat for the desired text.. Now I have to change to another butter save my product line....

I just made and baked the same Christmas cookie I've been making for 50 years. When I creamed the butter and the sugar, it never really creams. This has never happened before. The dough was different. They didn't get as big as they usually do. They were harder. They usually melt in your mouth. Also, when i took them out to soften, never got as soft as I needed them after two hours on counter. What is going on??

I know that Land O Lakes has repeatedly said that the recipe hasn't changed but it tastes different now. I noticed it a few months ago. Seems almost a little sour now. I experimented with different bread, then different butter. It was definitely the butter. Not sure why the sour taste to me, wasn't expired or even close. Sorry, I stopped buying it. It's unfortunate because we were raised on your butter and only your butter.

We have been buying LOL for years recently the packaging has changed and SALTED needs to be more PROMINENT on package! My husband has been eating the WRONG butter for days and is on a sodium controlled diet,under 2000 mg per day and it matters darn it! Salted in small 1 shade off green color band is not sufficient especially since he is color blind and had to view on zoom in website to even see it, totally missed it on package. Saw blue stripe which is traditionally used for only un-salted packages and bought it.

I've used Land of Lakes for years in all my baking and it always produced good results. Sadly, I am going to have to change brands because your butter has changed, and my bakery is the proof. I've worked in restaurants and have done a lot of baking, so I know what I am talking about. I wish you would return to your original recipe.

It is the only butter i have ever purchased, but both hubby and i have felt the taste is gone. It has lost its buttery taste and just tastes greasy. Maybe you have switched from grass fed cows? I dont know the answer, but please bring back LOL BUTTER with the old taste. In the meantime i think iwill go with Kerrygold.

I have been a loyal LandOLakes salted stick butter for years! I use it to make butter cookies and frosting. I use It every day to fry eggs and butter toast. But is now different. The cookie dough consistency is different. Eggs fry different. And most obvious is that the stick no longer holds its square shape at room temperature. What have you done to the ingredients???

I have been an avid user for your butter for years. I have to say the last few boxes I have purchased have not melted the same. Today I went to have fried eggs and you could tell the butter was watery. It was popping at a low temp. I've read that you haven't changed the formula but something has definitely changed.

We've used this butter for over 20 years, but something bad has happened to the taste. I thought it might be spoiled, but it's not that as the same bad taste is present in newly purchased sticks, sticks straight from the fridge. Unfortunately, we'll be switching brands because it's now a really awful taste.
