Works well for my extremely large country dog. He enjoys water play in the pond and frontline stays working.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this on my dogs for years, no side effects and good protection.

I have been using this product since it was first introduced on the market. Have had and raised many breeds of dogs, cats, and horses over the years, used many different products, but found this product to be the safest and most effective for my dogs. Friends have used as well, but then try 'something new' when it first came out, yet they all returned to Frontline eventually. My moto is 'if its not broke don't fix it' so we will continue with this product.

To protect all our dogs from fleas and ticks, we still use this every month, and have done so for over 15 years. It's never let us (them) down, and believe me, we do need it here especially against the ticks in So. Illinois. So we plan to continue with the treatments in future too.

I have used Frontline Plus for over 25 years and I've never had a problem with fleas or ticks or any side effects. I have Jack Russell Terriers that want to be outside to run when it is nice and lay in the grass. Follow the directions applying in one area where it says to and you should have no issues. Remember bathing your dog often can reduce the potency of product, I bathe my dog once at the end of the month a couple days before I have to reapply and use wipes to spot clean in between baths. You may live in an area where ticks/fleas are more plentiful than the Midwest where I am and have need for Frontline Gold. Frontline is always improving their products for your pets needs>

I have been using this on my Golden all her life. She is on Heartgard too and my vet and I tried to switch her to all in one chew but she got as "sick as a dog" so we switched her back to Frontline. No fleas ever. I just wish my vet would still sell it.

Once I started using Frontline Plus none of my dogs have ever had fleas. On the 1st of every month I bath them in the morning and administer it that night. When I am faithful to apply it monthly, it faithfully keeps the fleas away. My dog is a happy pup.
