Perfect tire

General Tire

So far so good. I've felt secure driving in all weather in my 2004 Avalon. I did have one tire replaced: sidewall damage from pot hole.

Excellent rain/snow/ice traction. Very good for long trips

Only have 1000-2000 miles on them but I really like them so far. Seem to be very good quality and hopefully they will last.

Purchased these about 8,000 miles ago and they are a great tire. Dry or wet conditions these tires are hard to beat! Especially for the price.

For 2016 jeep Cherokee

Bought these tires about 6 months ago for our Dodge Journey. No major complaints other than the noise level. They could be quieter.

Economical Tire

Bought these tires fall 2018. Run smooth, quiet, great handling on wet and dry roads. Put about 5000 miles on them with no problems.

Nice rolling tire

I bought these tires six months ago and they have held up well. The ride is smooth, but the road noise is a little high.

Good value for the price.

I have had them for almost a year now and they are great tires.  Low noise.  I drive a lot and the treed still looks brand new!

These tires are very quiet and perform well. So far do good and they wear very well. For the money you can't beat this tire!!

Great all around tire!

Overall, I  am happy with this purchase.  The only negative I have found for the RT43 is mediocre lateral grip in wet conditions.

Good performance at a decent price

As soon as I purchased these tires my truck vibrates.  I've brought them back to the tire dealer and they rebalanced them on three separate occasions. After the the third failed attempt they gave me a new set of the same exact brand and still vibration.  I've been to 5 different mechanics and they say everything under the vehicle is tight and they see no issue in the vehicle that perhaps its the tires.  I received a recall letter but the DOT on my tires are not included in the recall which is hard to believe because the letter states you will experience excessive vibration which I have experienced from day one.  Unless the tire dealer has damaged my vehicle, which I highly doubt, it is the tires because my truck NEVER vibrated until these tires were installed onto my vehicle.

Vibration from day one

I purchased these last fall, the factory tires which never had very good traction were to the point that I could not do another winter with them.  I have low mileage on my car since it is only a 'work' car so wear was not the issue.  These Generals have considerable amount of traction comparably and improve the handling of the car.  They allowed me to make it through the winter, even driveway busting through 6 some foot deep snow drifts in my little Sonic, very impressive as I did not want to walk the rest of the way (200 yards or so in cold blowing snow).  I used Tire Rack to  review options and in my opinion, these were the best for me.  Very pleased with this purchase.
