Great all season tire

I've always had General Tires on my truck and never had a problem. ( AT 2's).  So I decided to stay with General's and put the Altimax RT 43's on my car .  They have been the best set of tires to date that I've had on this car. 7 years and 4 different tire brands . I'll be staying with General's from now on !

Thank you General Tire!

I typically look for an inexpensive tire, and as the saying goes ""you get what you pay for"" so I don't expect much.  I got tired (pardon the pun) of similarly iffy performance and value from the likes of Pirelli, Dunlop and ESPECIALLY Firestone.  So I figured I would give GT a shot at earning my business.  I'm on my third full set of four and my second car and don't intend to look back!

Not perfect(no tire is), but a solid perfomer

I drive 75,000 miles plus a year since Sept. I have over 30,000 on the set. Good in winter Good in the wet when new...road noise is ok and the feel is sporty. I run them at 40psi cause they feel too mushy for me at 35psi. To get any life you must rotate every 10,000miles and keep psi constant, you'll meet the recommended 50k but the tire after 40k sucks in the wet and will not make a winter. So the last 10k better come in the summer and you have to be concerned on rain days.

5,000 miles in and absolutely no issues

I have these tires on a 2016 Hyundai Elantra. Its seeing mostly Highway and interstate driving between KY and MO. I've had no issues in the elements I've encountered the past few months (hot, wet, cold, or ice). I will probably buy a 5th tire to use as a spare since I'm not a fan of donuts. I'm not seeing any wear or abnormal indications on any of the four I have, and the ride seems better compared to the factory tires which had about 40,000 on them when changed.

One of the best set of tires that I have owned.

Bought these tires about 3 weeks ago for a trip from OH to FL on our mini van.  The trip down was dry weather and the ride was very quiet and smooth.  The way back home however was down pour and high cross winds.  The tires really held up during that trip.  I hit standing water on the freeway going about 60 mph at about 11:30PM, scared me, but noticed that the van held it's grip to the road.  If I had to do it all over again I would and will buy these tires in the future.

> 20,000 mile longevity on a FWD Jetta TDI

Was told at 16k miles that these needed to be replaced as they wouldn't pass state inspection due to advanced tread wear. I took them in at 10k miles for a rotation and intended to do another at 20k. I'm now at 20k miles and they've got nothing left. Don't waste your money unless you find enjoyment in replacing tires once a year.

throwing out alignment

As i say we installed these and the car at once started to pull to the left.So i went to a garage to check for front end issues he claimed they were fine so he put the right front on the left and vise versa and know it pulls to the left?? bad tires?, i checked them all to make sure they were the same size and now am experimenting with running 1 a bit higher psi to try and correct it.Car is a dodge journey r/t awd,53k miles.

I hope these tires are available the next time

I hope these tires are available the next time I need tires replaced. I can honestly say I have never experienced tires of this genre before. They grip the road incredibly. The tread is awesome. Haven't water planed since having them put on my vehicle. And trust me, we have had rain! Can't wait to see what they do in the winter time with snow and ice.

Great Tire 5 Stars

Purchased About Two Years Ago. Tires Now Have 30,000 Miles On them. Alignment Was Done When Installed, Tires Rotated Every 5,000 Miles With Keeping Up On Tire Pressure. Tires At this Time Look Brand New. As They Only Have 10,000 Miles On Them. Great Tire For The Money All Aound Summer  And Winter.

Fantastic ride

These replaced the OEM Bridgestone tires on my 2012 CX-9. They make the SUV ride so much better. It rides like a new car. Now the tires that were on the car were 7 years old  and I changes from a V to H rated tire, but I don't remember the car riding that good even when they were new. My wife says the same thing. Hopefully the tires will last as long as the originals.
