picture and sound is everything i expected. what i didn't expect was how hot it gets. is this normal?

i like qleds than oleds may be because my living room is very bright or i got used to samsung tv's from past decade. couple of years ago i bought 800t 8k but had several issues so returned it after few months. since then i have been waiting for samsung to fix the issues in their newer models, finally i felt 800b reached my expectations. things i liked - one connect - buit-in apps for gaming platforms (stadia, luna, etc). gaming console not needed. - brightness and contrast getting close to oled - great visibility in brighter rooms - better sound than previous versions - affordable 8k tv - auto dimming and adaptive sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The television is absolutely amazing. This is our first Samsung TV and I cannot believe the quality of the picture and how slim and modern it is. I can honestly say that it completely changed the way we watch movies and live sports. The slim remote had me worried at first sight but I cannot believe how incredibly comfortable and easy to use it is. This is by far the best television we have ever owned and I would 100% recommend it.

The TV is super thin but there is an auxiliary box on the back where your components get plugged in to ultimately adding to the thickness if youre mounting to the wall in a low profile mount. however, it's great if your components are placed remotely, and you only need to run one proprietary cable and you can save on highe end HDMI and optical cables in shorter lengths. The picture is amazing. There are some qwerks that I am still working with after two weeks such as the eArc HDMI repeatedly turning on different components such as my Xbox One when I am not playing the xbox. I did receive this product at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tv picture is absolutely stunning. When watching it really feels like I'm looking out of a window. The picture is very crisp and the colors are so vibrant where they should be. The black is actually black instead of kinda grey. Of course it has internet access and streaming apps already on the rb which is really cool. I bought a smaller one for my daughter so she can watch What ever she wants with no extra device it's all in the tv.

I have had this tv for a year and a half now. Here are a few things to note. 1. make sure when using a streaming service you disable the smart volume setting. Your speakers will auto adjust but your subwoofers won't which will make for an unpleasant experience as it shakes your tv when any base in applied. 2. Also when using streaming services or anything that does not have 8k capability or viewing, which is a lot, the video tends to shutter or lag from time to time. 3. After a year and a half my remote went bad and won't hold a charge, this is the 2nd remote I've had to replace, and when attempting to replace the remote the tv display stopped working all together. After troubleshooting it with support they said it would be more beneficial for me to just buy a new tv than repair it but thankfully they gave me a 10% off coupon. So if you can afford the price of this tv to replace it about once a year go for it otherwise stay clear.
