[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I could not find a small kayak anywhere else so I was very pleased to be able to get this kayak. I had been in to a few stores as well before I began my online search. I was so happy to find this so I will be able to manage it as a large kayak would be too much for me to handle.

I purchased this youth kayak for my two grandchildren. I'm very happy with the construction and sturdiness of it. Love the blue color! It's handy to have the foot rests to fit different size kids. One thing you should know is that this kayak does not come with a paddle, you have to purchase that separately.

I’ve got a seven year old son who loves kayaking on lakes with this. He has no problem maneuvering it around. The only problem with the whole thing is the back strap what barely counts as a support. For their top tier kids kayak a decent seat would have been nice.

We purchased for our grandkids (age 6 %26 8) and they were great! Easy for them to maneuver (beginners) - we tethered the 6 yr old to us. Kayaked on fairly smooth lake for a couple hours. Easy to transport on our top of car kayak rack in between our 2 adult kayaks. No leaks and were stable for both of the girls. Fairly light weight also. Very pleased.

Perfect price point for a youth kayak. However, it does NOT come with a paddle and they should state that clearly in the description. Doesn’t make sense that you would buy a kayak without a paddle, and the product pictures all have a paddle in them. So you end up spending more $ on a paddle.

The kayaks provide great balance and bouyancy for my 8-12 yo boys. They're also light and easy to move around. Two of the little plugs popped out because the boys intentionally capsize them so often :) and Lifetime customer service sent me several replacement plugs with no questions asked. Great product and great customer service.

Pros: I am an adult and it met my purpose for a short and lightweight kayak that I can carry easy (only 21 lbs) and fits inside my car (only 6'6"). It is 150 lb weight limit and I am 130 lb adult and it floats me very well and just fine and also I'm 5'10" tall and my legs fit perfect on the last foothold. It is fun. You can use a carabiner to hook a tiny cooler to kayak, but it will get wet. Cons: because it is short when you paddle it does wiggle right and left a lot. I was able to get used to it and figure out the best paddle placement to minimize the wiggle. I got where I needed to go fairly well. A longer kayak would be faster but it would not fit in my car. This short one provides my purpose of getting a workout, I don't need to go fast. It is very prone to tilting and throwing you out the side if you don't have good balance. I did not get thrown out because I adjusted where I paddle, farther away from the kayak, and I have good balance. Power boats were blasting by making waves and I did not tip out. So not a big deal, but be aware. You get used to it after 20 minutes and learn the kayak's behavior. The seat back is not very supportive at all. I am going to have to buy a better supportive seat. You will get very wet, the scupper holes are where your butt is so water will be in the seat. Plus it splashes up on the feet calves area a lot. Kayak sits very low to the water. Fun though, great on a hot day to get wet. I like it a lot and will keep it and have fun and get a workout and adventure. Love the lightweight aspect the most.

Quick, friendly, patient & helpful customer service given to us by Jiselle, after we discovered a single plug was missing from the kayak. They will be sending us two replacements at no cost. All during the corona virus pandemic. Thoroughly impressed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will be happy with this kayaks once I have the plugs so the kayak doesn't let in so much water. I do wish it came with a paddle as that makes for an added expense and hassle to get. I also think the seat could be better quality, it's flimsy and seems like it will break easily and not be super supportive. I do love the small size makes for easy transportation while also making paddling easier. Overall seems like a good product but I do wish for the price it came with a paddle or at least a better quality seat.

Kayak arrived in a plastic bag that looked like it had been through a world war. Bottom of kayak has scratches and a gouge. Appears to be missing documentation as well as there is loop with no flyer attached. Paddle was in another unpadded bag inside the larger bag just banging against kayak. Probably not enough to affect use but I expect a new product to arrive in new condition.
