We love our new trash can. We replaced it with the one we had in our kitchen. It is so nice that it opens when you wave your hand over the sensor. It also closes by itself, which is really nice. We love our new trash can.

This is a very nice trash can. I like the sensor feature and the stainless steel look. It is a good size and I hope that it can work without the sensor. Sometimes these trash cans with sensor can be an annoyance.

I have been looking for a new stainless-steel trash can to replace the one i had, it was a step can, made lots of noise and was very difficult to clean. Reading the reviews and looking at the photos of the inside provided really solidified my choice. It is ALL stainless-steel, very attractive, does not take up much space %26 best of all, there are no little cracks, openings or crevices for crumbs/food to fall into and never able to get out!! It is lightweight, non-slip bottom to prevent sliding around, extremely quiet. My old one was so loud when the lid hit the wall while opening, i always had to move it away from the wall. (which was probably 10 times a day. Runs on 4 AA batteries, very easy to access the compartment and slide in with ease. The inner bucket is also light picking it up to empty, NOT seemingly impossible to get the bag in, like many other cans. My old one was very oddly shaped %26 i had to stretch it to the max. Operates without issue. I have come across many other cans that seem to open or close randomly, i have not had any of those issues. The motion sensor is as sensitive as it should be. I wave my hand over %26 it opens. If i need to have it open for a few moments longer, i keep my hand over the aluminated light. It stays open until you take it away. This is an excellent product AND price. Sams is a very reputable Co, and i prefer shopping here because if you have any issues, they are more than happy to fix the issue.

Great trash can. I can fit 13gal bags - they fit snug but I would prefer it that way. The labels came off by the first week. Still works great tho. I like the on/off switch button.

I chose this can because I searched high and low for a trash bin that was 16.4 inches like my last one that just broke. This fit the bill according to the specs on Sam's website. Upon arrival it didn't fit my space, and it turns out it is 18.2 inches wide. So I can't even try this nice trash can and have to start my search all over. It's disappointing because the price was right compared to other trash bins on the market.

Absolute junk, arrived dented (shippers fault) worked for a couple days before the sensor started acting up despite new batteries. Will open then almost slam shut leaving no time to throw something away. The words "open" and "close" have disappeared within 5 days of use. Disappointed

i absolutely love this trash can! plus the removable bin indide is nice. Just fyi, the Members Mark 13 gallon drawstring bags fit but you really gotta stretch it! Other than that, perfect!

Sorry to have to resort to reviews to leave a one-star review based on Sam's issue, but I can see now why people do it. It arrived broken. I tried to get a replacement. No luck. I am now stuck with a broken trash can. No replacement and no refund.
