Bought this about a month ago, I wanted something lightweight that I can use versus a full size chain saw. I can now cut up the limbs in lawn, rather than waiting for my guy to help me. This definitely was the correct choice and good value! It's easy to use with and without the extension pole attachment.

I was wary of the smaller 20V battery as my other Worx tools have 32V. My first test was 14” twisted willow overhanging a walking path. It took only 9 cuts to drain a charged battery even with light pressure. Then 5+ hours to fully charge it again. Works much better on smaller limbs of course. Larger battery is on order.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At extension the saw is heavy but the weight was an advantage as it applied it's own downward pressure for fairly quick and effective through-cutting. On the pole it's not for grandma but I am 70 and I managed it OK. I used my 18 inch chainsaw for the main trunk but after topping out, which was what the pole saw enabled, I could safely drop the larger trunks. Once the top portions were on the ground it was great to detach the saw from the pole and use it to dismantle it all to manageable brush. Lots of cutting stuff 2 - 6 inches. This saw paid for itself in one tree project. I love it.

Excuse the pun, but I was disappointed that this just didn't have enough power to cut through a 3 inch branch. Rushing to get things done before a big bbq. I had bought this for just this purpose, I had a long low hanging branch right where corn hole goes. Saw arrived late the night before. The battery was fully charged but I don't know if the chain was full or what cause it would not cut this branch had to run to neighbors for manual one to finish the job minutes before folks arrived. It took me 4 hours to cut down one small live branch. Very disappointed.

I love Worx in general and this saw is no exception. As a woman I like to be able to do projects myself and not always have to depend on my husband to have to do everything. I love the Worx because I don't have to pull a cord to start the tools they have removed the frustration for me..thank you, thank you, thank you!

Works just amazing with one tiny downside. The chain does like to come off easier than I'd like, but it's also really easy to put back on. So far I've cut 6-8" birch trees (didn't fell them with it but did cut a few lengths once down) and smaller limbs of various wood types. Just let it eat on its own and it goes great.
