[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this with the Jaw Saw. Using it to cut down a tree that I had planted years back. Works great. Awkward when you use the pole but it serves the purpose I bought it for. It is top heavy but understandable. Wish the saw was a little longer.

If I were able tp get the chain to stay on I would be in love. But I put it up in the first six months I had it. I have brought it out of the closet and for the life of me have never seen this with any chainsaw. I have had to bring out my MS290 with 20" bar and that is not a good thing and really can be unsafe so yeah 2 years of disappointent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hi being a 65 yr old woman whose always been scared of chainsaws I ventured out and purchased yours ... I had a friend come show me how to properly use it. So far so good .. I have small trees to trim in which it works great.. in trimming the higher branches it does get heavy at the top. But given the chainsaw can be removed and used independently makes it great!!!

I'm a 55 yr old female and needed something lightweight and manageable to use on my own. Granted I'm not cutting down huge trees, but I have a lot of smaller ones and large limbs and this does the perfect job. Thought I would be intimidated since I'd never used a chain saw before, but I absolutely love it. simply put in the oil, insert the battery and you are ready to go. I did hit one snag after about the 10th tree I'd cut, but I think it was a very hard wood (not the fault of the saw) because the chain came loose. Was so proud of myself that after consulting the booklet, even I could repair it on my own in about 15 min and was back in business again. I highly recommend this saw.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After my first use, I am entirely satisfied with the performance, features, and ease of use. This is my first chain saw, so I did read all the instructions. If I had a gripe, it would be that during use I set it down on nearby cement, flat, and it somehow spilled a little oil from around the chain onto the cement. I will definitely be more weary of that next time. I intentionally chose this model over the JawSaw because I was concerned about the weight. When the pole gets half to fully extended, you get a great reach but it is hard to control. At least for me as I am 5'7" but not exactly what I would describe as muscular. I was not anywhere near as sore as I expected the next day.

I started with it using my brother's saw. He had the bigger battery on it and by the time I depleted the battery, I was ready for a break. I was cutting green oaks out of a stand of very old decorative cedars. Some of the trees downed were larger diameter than the saw blade. In all, it produced about 5 years of fire wood in about 3 hours.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using a gas powered pole saw, this one is so much lighter. Can do about 15 cuts on 3-4" branches per battery charge. I like the ability to use the chain saw separate from the pole. I have a number of trees on my 1 acre lot and this will help me keep them in good shape.
