Picture is very good after setup

The measurements are reversed in the specification tab wo/ and w/ stand. setup was straight forward and completed first time around. I thought I was done but the TV rebooted and took me thru the same process again before producing a picture. Also after tweaking the EQ and Picture the sound and picture is better than I expected from this class TV

Awesome for someone without cable

I love this TV! It offers so much! I don't have cable and I definitely don't need it with this TV. It automatically connects to Hulu, Netflix, Fandango, amazon prime, and so many more things.. if you are watching a video on your phone, whether it be on Youtube or Facebook, you can stream it to your Tv! The only downside I have it that the stand it comes with are two pieces of plastic that attach to the bottom of the tv that are spread fairly far apart. I had a small TV stand for my last tv, and it is about an inch too small to fit this tv, so I had to buy a new TV stand. So keep that in mind when purchasing. Overall and awesome tv, best money I've spent in a while.

When I had a problem with another model VIZIO TV I called Vizio support. They were very helpful but my TV was still not functioning. The next day I received a call from customer service and a man named Ken helped me to procur this new 50” D-series VIZIO. Not only was the new VIZIO a great deal, it arrived the next day! Great picture and a quality product

This is my 4th Vizio TV and all have had great pictures and as all flat screens do, suffers from less than quality sound because of the speakers and their placement. However a good soundbar seems to solve the problem. This is my first "smart tv" and like all my "smart" devices the designers seem to think they know more about what I want installed by default than I do. Just make the apps and options available to me and I will take what I want. Also please make it very easy for me to uninstall apps I don't want. I will keep buying Vizio products until they give me a reason to stop.

isn't really a tv, doesn't even have a tuner

after trying to for a couple hours to get tv channels, finally read in the small print that if you want to use an antenna you have to buy an external one from some 3rd party but doesn't say what kind to buy or where.It does have a good picture from my wifi but eats up my bandwidth. If you just need a monitor it is good.

I am blown away by the picture of this TV considering the cost. Lots of features, and set-up was a breeze. Yes, the speakers aren't very good, but they are the same for TVs below 32". I bought a $35 Soundbar and all is good. Definitely recommend this TV.

Good image, average sound, disappointing software.

I like the image quality. The sound is a bit off. What I don't like is the lack of customization in the software. I want to control what it looks like when I turn on the computer. I don't want a bunch of random movie and television show posters shown, as they may be indecent and I have children in the home. I also don't like how the shortcuts on the remote don't include Amazon, and I want a YouTube app so I don't have to connect my iPad to the TV to watch YouTube.

Hi mr.piano. Thank you for your feedback. We have started pushing a firmware update to our SmartCast TV's, including your model, that adds the YouTube app as a built in app so you are no longer required to cast the YouTube app to the TV.
