I just built a new house with a separate outbuilding for my wood shop. I bought one of these and I'm glad I did. Installation was easy if you do it right. One of my helpers twisted the refrigerant line giving it a severe kink which rendered it useless. After replacing that unit we installed the new one easily. Control is great with the remote control.

I installed the unit this past March (2018). Installation went well. Good cooling for our Georgia summer. My main heat is from a wood stove. I use the fan mode to blow the warm air from the ceiling area down lower (my ceilings are 10 feet high). The phone app has never worked with my newer Android phone. They really need an update of the phone app.

I replaced an old electric furnace in my garage with the 18k unit. The DIY model was as advertised...very easy to install. I finished on a 95* day in July, shut the garage and fired up the unit. Within 2 hours the humidity was gone and the temp was 76*. Unless you have an electrical background like me, you only have to hire an electrician. I now have heat and AC in my 3-car garage running off only 20 amps....compared to the 90amps of the old beast.

Does as it was advertised to do. Would like to see these DIY units available with different lengths of refrigerant tubing. It is performing as well as my 'named branded' mini in another room of my home. I ordered this one because the 'professionally installed' unit was not sized correctly and I needed to add another. This one has lived up to my expectations.

Last year I spent about $2,000 during the winter to warm the house with propane. This year I got a Mr. Cool and my heating costs have been cut in half. Additionally, it was easy to install and it works constantly without a sound. I was sure my electric bill was going to go through the roof, but the increase is negligible. Absolutely the best thing I have purchased for my home since I got it.

A well thought out design. The air handler that you mount on your wall has the return vent right on the top of it which makes it super efficient. It pulls the hot air from the ceiling and pushes cold air out underneath of it. I use it to cool down a 432 square foot living area and from the start up to comfortable cool takes five minutes. I can honestly say it's the best air conditioner I ever installed for myself. I'm 72 years old and I installed it myself, with the only help, was getting the line set through the wall.

Really, if you have any interest in installing this yourself... You should. The Company seems solid and the unit is flawless. I can't say enough about this unit and how well it works. This particular unit cools a ~500 sq ft space above our garage. It gets blistering hot up there and this unit just kills the heat. Do it!

I just bought this unit with low expectations since I live in Florida. I decided to go mini splits over conventional so I can control costs. It was a good choice. Easy to install. Wall bracket should be built to adapt to standard 16 on center wall framing.

The 1 ton unit I bought came in two boxes that me an one other person could easily handle. I watched a few videos and placed it according to the instructions. I am pleased with the product - its been running now for 6 months or more and I would do it over again in a minute! Thanks for the access to a great product. (I got a pro to do the electrical and still saved thousands off the HVAC contractor's bid)

Easy install. More efficient than expected! We chose a model that was twice the size recommended for the square footage to make up for heat loss/gain when the garage door is opened. This unit has done a great job keeping our garage/cave very comfortable! Highly recommend!
