Great food item to have because you can literally do just about anything with it. I personally just enjoy it on a toasted bagel with some everything seasoning but it also works well in any type of recipe you can think of. The consistency is always smooth and easy to mix. I love Philagelphia Original Cream Cheese! I have since I was a kid. When it comes to cream cheese, I guess I'm a bit of a snob! I will ONLY eat Philadelphia ORIGINAL Cream Cheese in the foil wrapped brick style - not a tub or spread or whatever else, just the brick. If it's not Philadelphia Cream Cheese in the original brick form I will NOT eat it! Sometimes our local warehouse/club store will carry a 6 pack. I pick one up every time I see it there so there is no real risk of running out!

There's only one other brand of cream cheese that surpasses this brand and I can't even remember the name. I haven't seen it in my local grocery store lately either. But Philadelphia Cream Cheese is always available and always good stuff. I just wish they had more options as far as firm/soft. Best brand for making cheesecake. Great cream cheese flavor and makes delicious cheesecake. The cream cheese is soft and easy to spread if you're using it on your bagels. I've also put it in the freezer before if I didn't use the whole pack and the flavor is just as great once you defrost it.
