I have been using this for years to clean my shower. Recently I had a kitchen fire. I had to throw away almost everything in my kitchen due to smoke and soot. A cleaning crew came and tried to get my dish set clean. But the soot was just smearing and not coming off. My dish set was passed down to me by my parents 20 years ago. They aren't fine china or anything fancy. But me and my step mom have a tradition where she finds pieces to the set at thrift stores, flea markets, tag sales, online, etc. then every Christmas she gives me what she found that year. I have almost the entire set now. When I called my step mom to tell her the news.. All of them are destroyed, she suggested to try the magic eraser. Why didn't I think of that?!?! I grabbed one and tried it on one piece and it worked like magic! I was effortlessly removing all the soot! I gave them a nice hot rinse and then repeated the process in case of any missed spots. I am so grateful for this product! Without it I would have lost a gift 20 years in the making!

I bought this product because I have small children and their mess's make it to the walls sometimes, but this product would not even get color crayon off the walls. I would never but this product again. Also scuffs on shoes it didn't work at all, a toothbrush and cleaner works way better, sorry but I had a very poor experience.

I was skeptical about a little sponge that could do so much, but I decided to test these puppies out anyways. The results were PHENOMENAL! I cleaned every wipeable surface of my apartment with magic erasers when I moved out. Besides my irreversible damage to the carpet, the magic eraser made my former residence look even better than when I moved into it! I cleaned like a madwoman, removing furniture marks on walls and door frames, pen and marker spots, really old stains on the upper part of the wall from exploding carbonated beverages, fingerprints and some of the most formally stubborn stains from the dark reaches of the universe. My only complaint is how quickly those wonderful sponges start to shred. Unfortunately, there aren't enough magic erasers in the world to fix up my new place, which at the very least should be condemned and incinerated! It's amazing how gross fifty years of college kids renting out a house can be. Let's just say, black mold is the least of my roommates' and my worries, but at least we're out of our annoying, though now delightfully clean and shiny, apartments. I used the Magic Eraser on my linoleum kitchen floor. Hated the floor because it had stained over the years on the mostly white background. I cleaned with the eraser today, and the floor looks great! Several hours on my knees to go through the whole room, but well worth it!!! Had tried every cleaner I could think of and nothing worked like this!

We own a detail shop and use a number of different tools and tricks to get things clean. We tried the Magic Eraser and loved it, it was truly like magic, the eraser got things out we didn't think were possible. We started off using just the regular duty and then graduated to the "Extra Power" because the other just wasn't stout enough to handle us! Overall we LOVE the product, the only thing I don't like is that it tears too easily while scrubbing making it difficult because then pieces fall into the car leaving more mess. We tried a similar product of an off brand nature and it held together quite a bit better. If you make the eraser stronger we will use it only!!

VERY DISAPPOINTED with the Magic Eraser - Extra Power. I saw the commercial for using it on white shoes, so though I would try it. The eraser would just fall apart and left a flaky mess! I really could not get a good cleaning job done on the shoes because of this flaw. Tried it on some smooth surfaces also. Not impressed at all. Does not perform as advertised. Sorry I got it.

Hello, I've used the magic erasers since they came on the scene, and I think the quality has diminished. I used to be able to clean items over a lengthy period of time, whereas nowadays, the magic eraser begins to tear and pieces fall off, before I've completed cleaning a couple of items. I've always loved the fact that it is definitely "magic", but am disappointed with the product quality of today. It cleans beautifully, but this eraser doesn't last very long. I thought I would need to repaint the interior doors in my house. I decided to try to clean them first with the Magic Eraser Extra Power. I am amazed! It was fun and easy to remove all the scuff marks and dirt. I am so delighted that I will not have to endure the expense and work involved in painting. Thank you so much for this amazing product!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this product, it is amazing for single people and especially for families. This product hasn't disappointed me yet. I use it on the walls, doors, base boards, shower, dog door, to clean make up off wood counter tops. I love that I can make my doors in the house back to being white for example from people not using door handles, with barely any effort it takes off the greasy, sticky, plan out dirty hand prints in seconds and it doesn't even use the whole eraser it lasts forever. I world recommended this product to anyone I could and do. Now that my kids are getting older they even love it, I mean that has to say something good for a teen to actually like to use something to clean is amazing.

So I was cleaning up the kitchen and found some old coffee and soda ring stains on the white Formica counter top from cups being left there. Soap and water wasn't doing the job so I decided to use some bleach. Well I guess I let it sit too long-WHOOPS! It left behind huge dark yellow stains and no amount of scrubbing with a sponge was going to get it off. After an internet search I tried silver jewelry cleaner which dulled them a bit but still left very obvious yellow stains. Finally I remembered we had some Mr. Clean Magic Eraser Extra Power sponges so I got one of those out and gave it a try. Well I'm happy to report there are no more yellow stains, the eraser completely removed them. I also discovered just how off-white the counters had become, the place where the stains had been was the whitest part of the counter! So the whole thing got a good scrubbing with the Magic Eraser and is now bright white again. It's got me searching the house for stains I thought were permanent to try the Magic Eraser on. It really is amazing, I thought I had ruined my counter with the bleach but now it looks like new!
