Will never use cleaners or sponges again. I love them so much, I went and brought a big box of them

These erasers used to be really sturdy and lasted a l-o-n-g time. I opened one tonight and it tore coming out of the box like tissue paper. They don't last through 6 cleanings tops and all I'm cleaning is the stove top (glass), the counters, the microwave, the stainless steel sink and the front of the refridgerator. I have a small galley kitchen it's not like I am cleaning concrete block walls or something. I always bought your brand because they were better quality but now I've reconsidered and am going with the cheaper store brand that works just as good.

I had some really old build up of dirt and grime that was combination of sources that I had tried many things on to remove the build up of grime over years of not cleaning. The base under was a white enamel. it was brown to black with grime/dust/grease in air from cooking, along with just the typical air pollutants of an urban environment. the commercials looked good so i decided to try. And much to my surprise it works and works well. Though in order to really get it off and back to what it looked like almost 26 years ago, extra strength was needed so I wouldn't spend hours cleaning some railings in my townhome.

After trying every cleaning product, steaming and more, I decided to see what my "handy-dandy super cleaner" (Magic Eraser) would do to my floor. The difference is SO amazing that my "clean" floors dulled in comparison to what the eraser did. I have very porous tile that takes to the eraser with ease! I am so thankful for this product and recommend it so highly, I cannot stop talking about it. Thank you for this product. P.S. Bigger packages could be helpful with as much tile as I have :)

I have used the magic eraser for about 2 years and I really like them they clean any area so easy. I tried the extra power one but didn't think it lasted as long the the thicker one. I clean apartments before they are rented so I clean alot of surfaces.

The absolute BEST way to clean soap scum from tub or shower is to spray with Kaboom Tub and Shower Cleaner, the kind that sprays out blue and then turns white... leave on for a few minutes and then wet your Magic Eraser and wipe. It cuts through the scum and grime like a hot knife through butter! Makes your tub/shower gleam and sparkle like NOTHING else! I have been cleaning tubs for 35 years and tried EVERYTHING under the sun to get rid of soap scum to no avail. Trust me, THIS works!!! I would be lost without my Mr. Clean Eraser!

To clean up a permanent marker mess my toddler son made, I literally tried everything. I tried scrubbing a dozen times with rubbing alcohol, nail polish remover, and simple water all to no avail. I finally went and bought some windex and magic eraser. All I can say is that it was magic! I did not even have to scrub, I simply wiped the magic eraser that I had sprayed windex on over the surface and in an instant the permanent marker and residue that was left behind from trying other solutions came off. No effort at all. Magic eraser saved my house!

Acopy of my comments to the Philadelphia Inquirrer replying to their tips on cleaning vinyl siding follows: Alan, just caught your answer for the vinyl siding cleaning question. Here is one that works unbelievably well... Mr Cleans Magic Eraser cleaning pads. I don't know what is in these things, but you just wet the siding and pad, and then just wipe off the dirt, mold whatever, as easily as wiping off a counter top. Rise off with a hose as you finish a section. Looks like new siding and gutters, works best on smooth services, ours is textured and cleans so easily. Only drawback, got to use a ladder where needed. This may seem extreme to sponge down your siding, but using a power wash is not so easy on the body either! Can you find out how these pads work? You can't smell any cleaning chemicals, they don't have any effect on your skin from what we experienced, but they gradually deteriorate as you use them and disappear like "magic"

I recently purchased the Extra Power Magic Eraser, and was utterly impressed. I had purchased the original before, and thought that the product was average, and didn't really live up to its name. However, the Extra Power version is fantastic. I used it to clean scuffs on the walls, and was impressed by how quickly and without scrubbing it cleaned the area. I particularly like the product for general spot cleaning, particularly around light switches! Great item! if you weren't impressed by the original, give the Extra Power a chance!
