I use this for baking. I like it better than the name brand. Always have a good result..

I add GV canned milk to low fat milk for my morning coffee. It makes my coffee taste good.

We were putting on a dinner party for 12 couples, 24 people plug two extras that were tagging along with two separate couples because that's how they roll. Our in home chef recommended Walmart's Great Value Evaporated Milk, and no one ignores a recommendation like this from Emeril Lagasse. We promptly went on a cross-state road trip to buy a can. I must pause and point out just how helpful the man that was stocking shelves that day was in helping us find this Great Value Evaporated Milk. It wasn't difficult, but I'm sure we would have wondered back and forth between aisles 8, 9 and 13 before we found it on aisle 9! We came home and the night of the big party had arrived. Everyone was decked out in suspenders and cargo shorts. Per our norm, Jerry our part time butler, shaved everyone down in the foyer. We had purchased some walmart great value white kitchen garbage bags to help with this opening to the party. After a few drinks out by the waterfall, we all settled into our assigned seats. The table was set out like a feast and two men carried a roasted pig in on a very large platter. They looked marvelous, but recent OSHA regulations requirements forced us to outfit them with back braces. Sure these clashed with their monokini's but, safety first! They set the pig down in the middle of the table and my girl friend had the honor of christening the can of evaporated milk with a can opener and then gilding the roasted pig with it. As the white glistening goodness dripped down the sides of the pig, we all proceeded to serve our selves eating with our hands tied behind our backs. It was sooooo yummy! I HAVE BEEN BUYING GREAT VALUE FOR A WHILE NOW. I USED THIS FOR THE FIRST TIME IN ONE OF MY FAVORITE RECIPES. IT TURNED OUT GREAT. I INTEND TO USE THIS ALL THE TIME. IT IS A GOOD PRODUCT, AND I AM REPLACING MY NATIONAL BRAND WITH THIS GREAT VALUE EVAPORATED MILK. I LIKE GREAT VALUE PRODUCTS, ALL OF THEM.
