Water diluted crap. I have an ice cream recipe that requires 2 cans of evaporated milk and for it to reside in the freezer. With other brands, it comes out creamy and slightly fluffy, like ice cream. With this Great Value brand, the water content is SO high that it freezes more like ice. From 16oz down to 12oz, higher price, and ripping people off isn't enough for Walmart, now they are lying about the main ingredient, which is water. It's water for most of their products, check out their cheese. 40% of Americans shop here... why?

My housemate likes Evaporated Milk with her Lipton Tea, I mean REALLY likes it, so we go through a lot of cans (which we dutifully recycle, as you should, too) Therefore I've started buying larger quantities each time out, and so I appreciate the more economical pricing at the Wal-Mart Neighborhood market.

Have been buying Great Value Evaporated Milk for years, the taste is great, certainly comparable to 'name brand', and it is a Great Value! I use it for puddings and pie fillings mostly but as others have said, it's good to have as a staple in your cabinet. My last shopping trip to Walmart, I found new 'easy open flip tops' on the evaporated milk...thank you Walmart!!! ( my favorite store)!

Please don't drink this by itself NU don't know how one can rate this item other than to rate the food you make with it. Because this stuff by itself is not delicious. It's merely an additive to something like a tres leches. So 5 stars because of the desserts I've made.

you can add this milk to milk for more milk per milk!!! anyways i was eating this milk like you were supposed to ( with a fork ) and accadetly dropped the milk on my dog and he became a chicken. i dont know how mut somehow he ate my refrigerator but the worst thing of all was my stomach becusae while i waseating his my bowels became so obstructed by milk that my butt felt like the centre of the sun as it all came out and made a sand hill looking thing worst pain ive ever expierenced. 5 stars really good experiance would recoend to any other person who lives in a random persoons attic and feeds of their dreams of becoming a great writer. ( you know who you are ) (i am in your walls)
