Fresh. Not as good as NC oysters, but will do in a pinch. Makes GREAT Oysters Rockefeller - but add salt to these Pacific Ocean oysters because they're not as salty as our Atlantic Ocean variety. Yum.

These oysters were bigger than the selects I have been purchasing and had a much better taste for less than half the price.

Large but pretty tasty... not restaurant quality. I bought 2 containers and had Southern fried oysters one night and oyster stew later. I am landlocked and am glad to have a reliable source for something different.

Some of these oysters are gigantic. There were only about 5 in the whole tub. I'm sure if you were maybe frying them then you would like them being this big. I wanted them for a gumbo to they didn't stretch very far being so big. I would have likes smaller and a larger number.

I was disappointed with this item. The first of two pints of oysters were "funny tasting" the day of purchase, and the stew was left uneaten. I rechecked my recipe the following day and intended to try again with stew, but when I opened the refrigerator, i found the pint container "swollen" to near bursting, and on puncturing the seal, realised the oysters were spoiled.

mushy, nasty, not like oyster at all; won't buy again
